Give us a name

Awwh, what a shame. All my (paternal) cousins and I have Arabic names, and [name_f]Amirah[/name_f]'s my middle so it was one of the first to come to mind haha.

@myosotis, that’s really cool that your family has made a tradition out of it. My cousins couldn’t be bothered. There’s unfortunately a lot of stigma around being of Middle Eastern descent - stigmas and taboos- that I make a point of fighting against.

I would love to see more suggestions, berries!

Hmm, I’d personally avoid the letters X, V and Z because you already have those letters in your other children’s names.

[name_f]Noor[/name_f], [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_f]Viola[/name_f], [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] and:

[name_f]Senna[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]

[name_f]Asma[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]

[name_f]Asma[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is stunning @emsky! But do you think there would be trouble on accounts of asthma?

Hmm i hadn’t thought of that! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you say as-ma or ahs-ma? I think with the latter (the way I assume it’s said) there’s enough distinction.

Well, I know I should say it Ahs-ma, but really my first reflex was to say it As-ma… Too bad!

[name_f]Gisele[/name_f] Margalit <3

To answer previous question Luluah means bead of pearl.

[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Azalia[/name_f]

Thank you [name_f]Jalila[/name_f] for the suggestions! I think I might browse through that website! Also, [name_f]Sidra[/name_f] and [name_f]Azalia[/name_f] are beautiful, maybe I could get away with spelling it [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]?

@halloween_[name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f], feel free to post as many times you want!

[name_f]Thana[/name_f] [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]
Thara [name_f]Jeanie[/name_f]

Would you use [name_f]Amira[/name_f] as a middle?i like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Amira[/name_f].

I love the idea of honouring culture and family history! Your kids names are gorgeous.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about Marziyah [name_f]Eleni[/name_f]?
