If you’re going for glamour, [name]Ava[/name] is the clear winner.
That said, I voted for [name]Eve[/name]. That was probably not a fair vote, since it’s not the name that best fits the criteria you specifically outlined, but I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Eve[/name]!
What a fantastic name!
Admittedly, it doesn’t scream glamour, necessarily, but it does scream class and elegance and sophistication and charm, not to mention warmth and friendliness. So familiar, so accessible, yet so distinct and unique at the same time - a true underused classic. It’s also a very confident name, in that it really gets it money’s worth, so to speak, out of just two e’s and a v; it’s not hiding behind lots of extra letters or syllables. Works well on a baby and a grown woman. It’s truly versatile and the kind of name anyone can wear, like a well made cashmere scarf.
Thanks jlm, for your response! I love the name [name]Eve[/name] as well, however, I’m concerned about the way it sounds with our last name, [name]Olson[/name]. I may be over analyzing it, but when [name]Eve[/name] [name]Olson[/name] is said, to me it sounds so much like “Evil son.” Am I ridiculous? Or is that a valid concern?
I agre with you the [name]Eve[/name] [name]Olson[/name] isn’t flowing correctly!
I voted for [name]Scarlett[/name], to me that name is the epitome of glamour, from [name]Scarlett[/name] O’[name]Hara[/name] to [name]Scarlett[/name] Johanssen! I also love the nn [name]Letty[/name]/[name]Lettie[/name]! [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Olson[/name] has a really great flow to it, and it really screams old hollywood glamour!
Since your LN starts with “o” and has 2 syl then i voted for “[name]Sophia[/name]” as it is longer than the others and echos the “o” in your LN.
[name]Sophia[/name] reminds me of [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Lauren[/name], French actress renouned for being extremely sexy “French [name]Marilyn[/name] [name]Monroe[/name]!”
We are thinking [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Eve[/name], [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Eve[/name], or [name]Ava[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. Any favorites of these choices??
[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Eve[/name] [name]Olsen[/name] is just perfect!
I also just remembered one of my very favorite names from a few years ago. What about [name]Sophia[/name] Am”lie [name]Olson[/name]?
I vote for [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Eve[/name] [name]Olson[/name]. The first and last name alone sound great. I can imagine a famous actress or singer when I hear it, and [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Eve[/name] sound beautiful together.
I just love the name Tulli [name]Scarlett[/name], after the two Firefly [name]Lane[/name] girls, written by [name]Kristin[/name] [name]Hannah[/name].
[name]Love[/name] [name]Ava[/name], so sultry!
Agreed!
I voted for [name]Sophia[/name] (as in [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Loren[/name]), and [name]Ava[/name] (as in [name]Ava[/name] [name]Gardner[/name]).
[name]Ava[/name] is okay, but - for some reason - it strikes me as a tad bit pretentious sounding. On the other hand, I adore the names [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Eve[/name]. [name]Both[/name] convey utter elegance. I have two boys and one daughter. I missed out on getting to use the name [name]Eva[/name] that I would have used if I had had more daughters. I am envious (but happy for) those who get to use [name]Eva[/name] or [name]Eve[/name] in naming a daughter. In your case, I think [name]Sophia[/name] (or [name]Scarlett[/name]) [name]Olson[/name] is beautiful with [name]Eve[/name] as the middle name.
It’s not why I love the name, but I do happen to have positive associations with the name [name]Eve[/name]. For those who remember or otherwise know about the T.V. series, The [name]Brady[/name] Bunch, the middle daughter was played by actress [name]Eve[/name] Plumb.
