I have posted my girls names before but I just can’t settle on 1 or even 2 names I like. Boys we are sorted but girls are just sooooo hard.
We had decided on [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Belle[/name], nn indi, but I am not sure if it’s too ‘out there’, I love [name]Indi[/name] more than [name]Indigo[/name] I think and really want to love them both equally.
Other names on out list are: [name]Willow[/name] (would have been my sons name but is now getting popular in the UK so puts me off a bit), [name]Clementine[/name] (can you think of nn other than [name]Clemmy[/name], maybe [name]Emmy[/name]?), [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Luna[/name], I like [name]Bay[/name] but maybe too simple and we both like [name]Quinn[/name] but I am worried it’s too masculine.
Middle names we like [name]May[/name] (H and I met and married in [name]May[/name] and baby is due in [name]May[/name]) or [name]Belle[/name] but are open to options.
So what would you use or can you think or alternatives. I think my problem is I don’t have a set style that I like for girls names so they are a bit all over the place! Ahh!
I think [name]Clementine[/name] [name]May[/name] would be precious! You can definitely use [name]Emmy[/name], or my favourite nickname, [name]Tiny[/name]! [name]Willow[/name] [name]Belle[/name] would be gorgeous as well.
I like [name]Indi[/name], too…we considered [name]Ingrid[/name] nn [name]Indi[/name].
[name]Emmy[/name] would be a fine nn for [name]Clementine[/name]. I also know a baby [name]Clementine[/name] who is called [name]Cleo[/name] for short…I think that is cute and spunky.
I love [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Belle[/name]! I think [name]Indi[/name] is such a cute nn, but if you’re not in love with [name]Indigo[/name] then what are your thoughts on [name]Indiana[/name]? I like how she could go by [name]Indi[/name] or [name]Ana[/name]/[name]Anna[/name] and [name]Indiana[/name] [name]Belle[/name] sounds like [name]Indi[/name] [name]Anabelle[/name], which could be a way of getting the focus on [name]Indi[/name].
I’m not keen on [name]Clementine[/name] overall mostly due to [name]Clemmy[/name] - reminds me of clammy! But a possible nn is [name]Minnie[/name]? Or, if you wanted a quirky one then [name]Minty[/name] is an option!
If [name]Willow[/name]'s a bit popular then maybe [name]Willa[/name] would be better for you? I think [name]Willa[/name] [name]May[/name] is pretty. Also like [name]Luna[/name] [name]May[/name]!
If you love [name]Indi[/name] more than [name]Indigo[/name], how about going for the name [name]India[/name]? I know an [name]India[/name] who’s nickname is [name]Indie[/name]. Such a pretty name! I do love [name]Indigo[/name] as well though, and don’t think it’s too out there at all. It’s just a colour name like [name]Scarlet[/name], [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Blue[/name], but with a gorgeous nickname!
Someone on here a few days ago suggested the nickname [name]Lemon[/name] for [name]Clementine[/name], which I thought was adorable! Also [name]Emma[/name] could be used.
[name]Willow[/name] is lovely, as is [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Luna[/name] and [name]Belle[/name]. And [name]May[/name] is such a lovely idea because of the significance it has to you. I think the best name for you would be [name]India[/name] [name]May[/name]. So perfect!

Re [name]Indigo[/name], I am not as keen on [name]Indiana[/name] and whilst I love the sound of [name]India[/name] I would rather steer clear of countries names.
I am going to suggest a new short list to my husband:
Wow! So many options! I think [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Belle[/name] is pretty and there is nothing wrong with it, but I do prefer some of your other choices. [name]Clementine[/name] [name]May[/name] is very nice. I would use the nn [name]Tine[/name], [name]Tiny[/name] or even [name]Clem[/name]. Or you can be creative or let the nickname grow organically. For example nicknames like [name]Scout[/name], Bug, [name]Mandy[/name] (Mandarin orange) or whatever. Someone else suggested [name]Willow[/name] [name]Belle[/name], and I love it. [name]Willow[/name] was one of my favorites, and I have loved it for years. Paired up with [name]Belle[/name], it makes me think of hot summer days and sweeping willow trees over a slow moving river, with children laughing and splashing in the water! [name]Luna[/name] [name]May[/name] is also my cup of tea. We had [name]Luna[/name] on our list until a friend named a dog [name]Luna[/name]. Sigh. We might still consider it as a middle name.
Ultimately [name]Willow[/name] [name]Belle[/name] is my favorite followed by [name]Luna[/name] [name]May[/name]!
