Goldie

What do you think about the name [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]?
I love it but to me she would have to be blonde? Is that crazy? I don’t know why but it just seems more fitting that way and chances are my child will be brunette.

I used to have a fish named [name_f]Goldie[/name_f], so I kind of think of her. It would probably work great, but a lot of awful things went down regarding that fish, so I can’t really tell you I love it.

I really like it! [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] feels so sweet and warm. I don’t think a [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] has to be blonde- I can definitely picture a brunette called [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]

I know. I love that it feels happy and isn’t super popular. I just can’t get the image of a little
Blonde girl out of my head and my boys are not super blonde so I doubt she will be. I’m probably just overthinking. Thank you!

I like [name_f]Goldie[/name_f], even more so as a nickname for [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] but either way it’s cute; and no, I don’t think she would have to be blonde.

I really love [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]! I actually know a [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] who just so happens to be brunette. I think it’s a darling name, but I would probably use it as a nn of [name_f]Golda[/name_f] or [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] (maybe [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] or [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], too)

I also picture a blonde [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]… But I wouldn’t let that stop you, if you really love it!

I think this is a sweet, vintage name. I really don’t think I’ve met anyone with it! And I work at a hospital, so I see people from all walks of life.

I do love marigold but I personally am not into a nickname. I like naming what I’d call her

I really like [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]! It’s super sweet probably a bit boho and no way does she need to be blonde! Actually probably better if she’s not  The only downside is that it feels very young alas…

On a slightly related note, I also really like the name [name_f]Orla[/name_f] which means something like “golden princess.” Unfortunately it being so close to oral doesn’t work for me haha.

I do love orla but have a friend with a daughter named that :sob:

I love it as a nickname for [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Goldie[/name_f], I don’t think she has to be blond because misnomer’s are fun and also perhaps your [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] is simply “Good as [name_m]Gold[/name_m]”

Its just not for me. I imagine it as a cute childhood nickname that only your elderly family members use. Or as pet name, [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] the golden retriever.

It’s not my style, but I can see the appeal.

Hi! [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] ([name_f]Marigold[/name_f]) haha, and I’m brunette. I think [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] fits more of a vibe you give off rather than a physical trait, if that makes sense!
