[name_u]Lennox[/name_u] or [name_m]Lenox[/name_m] is all wedding china to me. I don’t like it as a name on either gender, but if I had to choose I’d go with a boy.
Evangelyne: I don’t think the ‘y’ is necessary at all. I don’t think anyone pronounces [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] any differently than your desired pronunciation. This spelling definitely diminishes the classiness of [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f] are very sweet nicknames.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]: Very pretty and popular. I prefer [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] to [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f].
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]: [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] will be popular for the next couple of decades, albeit not as popular as it is now the entire time, but names don’t typically disappear very quickly. [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] was in the top 100 for 40 years (1970-2010, peaked from '81-'97) and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] has been in the top 100 for 27 years and has been at its peak for 3 years. ALL that said, I adore [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and there isn’t one bad thing I can say about it.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]: I think there are SO many better ways to get “[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Nora[/name_f]” than to use dusty old [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. I just don’t see the appeal.
[name_u]Avery[/name_u]: [name_u]Avery[/name_u] is a boy name that sounds awfully similar to ovary.
[name_f]Loryn[/name_f]: [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] is much nicer followed by [name_u]Loren[/name_u], though I find the [name_u]Loren[/name_u] spelling to be very masculine.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]: Pretty!
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]: Not a fan. My kids eat clementines like they’re going out of style so I think the association has ruined me.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]: [name_u]Love[/name_u]! I prefer it as a nickname BUT I dislike most [name_u]Rory[/name_u] full names like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f], [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], etc.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]: Sweet. Always sounds childish to me, but I love [name_f]Nell[/name_f].
