Got a name, just need help with the spelling

So we have agreed on a name but not the spelling. Which one do u like and why.
[name]Elliott[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Eliot[/name]
[name]Eliott[/name]

[name]Ronan[/name] is the middle name. Thanks

The traditional spelling is [name]Elliot[/name]. I would stick with that spelling to avoid confusion and misspelling.

I also like [name]Eliot[/name] as a reference to the writer [name]George[/name] [name]Eliot[/name], though it was a pseudonym.

[name]Elliot[/name], it is the most popular spelling being used right now. I would stick with that.

Definitely [name]Elliot[/name]!
To me, using only one “L” like in [name]Eliot[/name] looks a lot more feminine (especially since [name]Elliott[/name]/[name]Eliot[/name] is becoming more and more unisex)

[name]Elliot[/name], the traditional spelling, is best in my opinion. I hadn’t heard of any girls names [name]Elliot[/name].

Yes, [name]Eliot[/name] (or [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Elliott[/name], [name]Eliott[/name], etc.) is very quickly becoming a unisex name rather than a strictly masculine name. For a boy, I like the spelling [name]Eliott[/name] or [name]Elliott[/name]. However, I prefer it as a girl’s name, spelled either [name]Eliot[/name] or Eliotte.

I vote [name]Elliott[/name] simply because that’s what I’m most used to. No matter the spelling, it’s a great name!

And to assuage your fears of it becoming unisex, it is starting to be used for girls, but it still definitely considered primarily a boy’s name.

I think [name]Elliot[/name] [name]Ronan[/name] is a great name!
