I watched the Hunger Games for the first time last night - still not sure if I like it - but what I did like was some of the names, however I really loved the District 1 name for the girls (I did some research on the films and books whilst we were watching it).
Two of the girls’ names are [name_f]Cashmere[/name_f] and [name_f]Glimmer[/name_f] which I really liked for some weird reason. Maybe I’ve got pregnancy brain or whatever they call it…
Now, I don’t think I would ever use the names for a baby but I really do love the names.
What are some of your GP names - they don’t necessarily need to be Hunger Games names.

I read the trilogy twice, but I’ve only watched the 1st film once. I love [name_u]Rue[/name_u] (got it as a middle, not a GP), but that might be because she was such a great character. [name_f]My[/name_f] actual GPs (at least for firsts) are:
Arachne (I love this so much)
[name_f]Reverie[/name_f] (really crushing on this, partly due to Owl City)

@myosotis: I also adore the name [name_f]Medea[/name_f] but it’s got to many negative connotations because of the play [name_f]Medea[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Rue[/name_u] would be useable if it wasn’t for the fact that many people would make the Hunger Games association.
I’m not so keen on [name_f]Glimmer[/name_f] myself but I do see the appeal of [name_f]Cashmere[/name_f], however, I feel like [name_f]Cashmere[/name_f] would fit better on a male than a female for whatever reason. It just has a gentle yet masculine thing going on for me.
I loved The Hunger Games and devoured all three books in a couple of days. Of the characters names in it, I enjoy [name_u]Rue[/name_u], [name_f]Octavia[/name_f], [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] & [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] + [name_m]Cinna[/name_m] and [name_m]Cato[/name_m].
I don’t have a GP list, my names are all together whether I consider them usuable or not. Most names that may be classed as GP’s I don’t necessarily feel ‘guilty’ about loving, but a couple I do have massive soft-spots for are [name_f]Daenerys[/name_f] and [name_f]Whimsy[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Cashmere[/name_f], would never use it, but I like it nonetheless.
