Isn’t she lovely?! [name_f]My[/name_f] understanding is that it would more accurately be Halldóra in [name_f]Iceland[/name_f], as the feminine of [name_m]Halldor[/name_m] / Halldórr / Hallþhorr meaning Thor’s rock. But I’ve seen Halldora, no accent, as the Norwegian modern form (also with some usage in Denmark). For some reason it reminds me of a woodland sprite
