Grace nicknamed Gracie?

What do you think of [name_f]Grace[/name_f] as a first name, and she’d go by [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] a lot?

It’s a solid name and nickname, I personally would not go with it because it’s very common where i’m from. but it’s very pretty💕

So cute :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

i think it depends on the person? i know graces who don’t go by gracie at all, and then some graces who do, so it just depends on what you’d call her!

I don’t prefer it, it’s way over used.

I love [name_f]Grace[/name_f]! It’s a sweet, classic, versatile name. [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] I don’t love as much but it’s a very natural nickname and a lot of people do like it!

I think it’s very sweet!

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f]. If you like [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] this is the way I would do it - then you have both [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Gracie[/name_f].

I feel like [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] is a spoken nickname — like, if she wrote her name on a worksheet or something at school she would write [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Also it’s not one of those nicknames that she would use and hate or not realise when she’s being called by her actual name, as they’re so similar. I like it, and I found myself accidentally using it for a character named [name_f]Grace[/name_f] the other day.

I’m personally not a fan of this name as I used to teach and I’ve never met a nice child called Grace/Gracie. And I’ve met A LOT of them. So it’s mostly about association for me but I also find it a bit sickly sweet, especially when the child is the complete opposite :joy:

I find it a little lacklustre but [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is a solid name and [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] can be charming.

I know a [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] by birth who loves her name! Sometimes people call her [name_f]Grace[/name_f] as a nickname.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] is nice but lacks that spark to me. I adore [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] though and would totally use [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and call her [name_f]Gracie[/name_f]

I know a [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and I often call her [name_f]Gracie[/name_f]. I think it works.Hope this helps.
