I’m down to [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_u]Sage[/name_u] for my daughter. Which one do you prefer? I appreciate your feedback!
I adore [name_f]Grace[/name_f]…and [name_f]Gracie[/name_f]. It is also an honor name. I personally would only use [name_u]Sage[/name_u] as a middle name.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f]! 
Then again, [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is one of my favorite girls’ names in general, made even more so by the fact that it was my grandmother’s middle. I think she’s one of the most beautiful names in the world.
[name_u]Sage[/name_u] is nice, but doesn’t hold a candle to [name_f]Grace[/name_f], at all, imo. 
I feel like I will likely be in the minority, but I prefer [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Most people think it’s overused and yes, I see it a lot, but there’s just something about the name [name_f]Grace[/name_f] that I love. It’s soft, elegant, and has a wonderful meaning. [name_u]Sage[/name_u] just doesn’t do it for me as a girl’s name. I think it’s okay for a boy, though.
Personally I prefer [name_u]Sage[/name_u], which I see as being more interesting and having a nicer sound. Both are lovely, however, and neither would be a mistake! What are you thinking for a middle?
You might also consider nickname potential - [name_f]Grace[/name_f] can do [name_f]Gracie[/name_f], [name_u]Gray[/name_u], and Cee-Cee, while [name_u]Sage[/name_u] pretty much stands on its own (at least for me; I’m sure others could come up with something).
Both lovely! Personally, I prefer [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. What about a middle name with a nature theme?
I do like [name_f]Grace[/name_f] for its sound, meaning, and nickname potential ([name_u]Gray[/name_u], [name_m]Ace[/name_m], [name_f]Gracie[/name_f], etc.), but its popularity as both a first and middle name turns me away. So I’d go with [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. I think it’s a strong and lovely nature name. Maybe you could use the nickname [name_f]Essie[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but only really because [name_u]Sage[/name_u] leans boy to me.
Which one goes better with other names you like or the chosen middle name (assuming she’s getting a middle)? I would look for balance.

- I would use [name_u]Sage[/name_u] if the middle is something simple and classic, like [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], or [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], or if other first names you like are less familiar/obviously nature names, like [name_u]Story[/name_u] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f], or [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Fern[/name_f]. You’d have [name_u]Sage[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].

- If the middle is more distinctive, like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Alma[/name_f], or [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], or the other first names you like are a bit more popular and/or classic, like [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Hope[/name_f], or [name_f]Nora[/name_f], I’d use [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Sisters would be [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f].
Definitely [name_f]Grace[/name_f]! It’s sweet, feminine, classic, and wears well at any age.
I find [name_u]Sage[/name_u] to be pretty “meh” for both boys and girls. It feels like a lesser [name_f]Paige[/name_f].
I really like [name_u]Sage[/name_u]! Sounds beautiful but also downt to earth.
My personal style is going with [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I love [name_u]Sage[/name_u] as well, though.

I love [name_u]Sage[/name_u], because I have a good friend with this name and lots of great associations with it.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f], I’m neutral on. They are both nice names but very different in popularity so if I was unable to decide I’d bare that in mind.
