I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Seraphine[/name]. I used [name]Seraphina[/name] for my daughters middle name and I wish I would have used it as a first. I contemplated re-using at as a first for this baby girls first name b/c I can’t find anything I love as much but that would just be weird. No I don’t think it’s too religious. People never know what it means. Most of the time they’re just like wow that’s really pretty, or wow that’s different but no one has ever commented on religious connotations.

It’s more “spiritual but not religious.”

Though the S sounds do run together.

I put enough of a pause between the two that they don’t run together. I think it is a lovely combo and I normally dislike overly religious names. These two seem to fall into a nice balance.

I do have a hard time not running the two together, but both are beautiful names and they look wonderful next to each other.

Not sure. It’s lovely combo, thou.

I like it and I think not many would think of it as of a very religious name.

I didn’t get religious at all from that combo… I thought sweet and pretty, a name that glows and sparkles (sunset name).

I really love [name]Grace[/name] [name]Seraphine[/name]! I generally prefer [name]Seraphina[/name], but there’s something about [name]Grace[/name] [name]Seraphine[/name]. It’s lovely. Honestly, the whole religious thing didn’t even register until you asked about it. I just clicked on the thread because I thought the combo was so gorgeous.

Are you religious at all? If so, IF it was a real concern (which, I don’t think it is), I think you could get away with it easier. But honestly, I don’t think it’s a real concern.

I guess it depends on whether you’re religious or not. If you’re an atheist or agnostic I guess it would be weird to name your kid this, cause why?

It’s actually pretty but the s sounds run together. I like [name]Seraphine[/name] [name]Grace[/name] better.
