Granger for a girl?

What do you guys think about [name_m]Granger[/name_m] for a little girl? I’ve always felt it was more feminine than masculine and am thinking about adding it to my list. Thanks!

Also, if you don’t like it, any suggestions for girl names with a similar feel?

Eh, sorry but I am just not a fan. I do not like the sound or the look of it. That being said, I don’t really like it for a boy either so it’s just generally not my style.
Similar- [name_u]Grey[/name_u] or [name_f]Gracen[/name_f]. Maybe [name_m]Baker[/name_m], [name_u]Denver[/name_u], [name_u]Chandler[/name_u], [name_u]Fifer[/name_u], [name_u]Gardener[/name_u], [name_f]Glimmer[/name_f], [name_m]Palmer[/name_m], [name_u]Sailor[/name_u], [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u], [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] [name_m]Miller[/name_m] would be better in my opinion.
But follow your heart, if you absolutely love [name_m]Granger[/name_m] you might be able to pull it off. The middle might be a better spot for it, but as a first name it could have the nn [name_u]Gray[/name_u].

[name_m]Granger[/name_m] reminds me too much of grunge / grungy. It’s got a harsh, gravelly sound that I don’t think anyone would want to have. I wouldn’t give it to a boy or girl.

Adorable…

Thanks for the feedback! I love the idea of using the nickname [name_u]Gray[/name_u]. [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] and [name_m]Palmer[/name_m] are also two of my favorites, thanks for the suggestions.

I totally get where you are coming from. It does have a “rough” sound to it, but to me that is part of its appeal. Thanks for you feedback!

I really dislike it for either gender. It sounds like a name for a hound dog
