One name hubs and I both really love is [name_m]Garrett[/name_m], but with a son named [name_m]Grant[/name_m] are the names just too similar?

I think [name_m]Grant[/name_m] and [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] are too close for me as well.
I personally would probably avoid I and G names.
but it seems boring. I would go for a different letter or for [name_m]Graham[/name_m] or [name_m]Granger[/name_m], both of which I prefer to [name_m]Grant[/name_m] or [name_m]Garrett[/name_m].
interesting - in my mind I think [name_m]Graham[/name_m] and [name_m]Grant[/name_m] are much more similar as they have Gra in common.

I think [name_m]Grant[/name_m] and [name_m]Graham[/name_m] are more similar too. In general I prefer unique initials, but I don’t think it’s so close it’s unusable if you love it. I prefer [name_m]Gareth[/name_m] to [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] though.
Yeah, I don’t know why people are suggesting [name_m]Graham[/name_m]. That’s way too close. I would avoid G all together. What happened to [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]? (That was you, right?)

Yup [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]/[name_m]Weston[/name_m] is me. Still high on my list but when DH and I made lists of our top 5 names, neither [name_m]Wes[/name_m] name was on his list

I love [name_u]Barrett[/name_u], especialy with the nn [name_m]Bear[/name_m]. DH says no no no.
The other 3 I’m not keen on.
