Either spelling in fine, but I cast my vote for the “a” I guess because I’ve seen it that way before.
[name]Grayson James
Greyson Porter
Greyson Hollis
Grayson Keith
Grayson Vance[/name]
I prefer the [name_m]Grayson[/name_m] spelling. I’ve never really warmed to the “e” spelling for some reason. Thinking about it, it could have something to do with [name_m]Tarzan[/name_m] (Greystoke) or the bus company of Greyhound. However, the name has nothing to do with colour. It means “son of the steward” from the English word “greyve”.
From what I’ve read on spelling, [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is mainly an American spelling and [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is used in other English speaking countries. Which means that I should like [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] more - only I don’t! For me, grey is the colour and [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is a surname so the surname should be [name_m]Grayson[/name_m]. Go figure.
I prefer the [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] spelling. The “e” just feels softer and looks a lot nicer than [name_m]Grayson[/name_m] to me, the a just makes it look harsher.

Where do you live? In [name_u]America[/name_u], the “gray” spelling is more common, whereas the spelling I’m more familiar with, is the British spelling “grey.”
Haha! Exact opposite here : ) From [name_u]America[/name_u], so gray is the color here, and hence [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] is more befitting as a name.
I like [name_m]Grayson[/name_m]. I feel like there will be people in both places that prefer either one. For example, I like [name_m]Grayson[/name_m] because in [name_u]America[/name_u], the word is spelled “gray”, so it looks more proper to me. But some Americans like [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] better because it doesn’t look as much like the color, and more like a name, and also maybe that it looks more British? And vice versa in [name_m]Britain[/name_m] (although I find it hard to imagine that they would like [name_m]Grayson[/name_m] more because it looks like a trendy American name).
ETA: Och, I forgot combos! Grayson Isaac Jude is my combo, and I’m rather partial to it, but I like the idea of Grayson Joshua, Grayson Elias, and Grayson Avery, as well. Grayson Joshua Reid, Grayson Elias Reid, Grayson Avery Reid?
I voted “e”

[name_m]Greyson[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]

[name_m]Greyson[/name_m] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]
[name_m]Greyson[/name_m] [name_m]Everette[/name_m]
Thanks for the wonderful combos everyone! I really like both [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] and [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_u]Jude[/name_u].
I’ve always liked to spell the word and name “[name_u]Grey[/name_u]” so I vote [name_m]Greyson[/name_m]
