What are some names that are used in both Greek and Italian?
I can only think of [name]Maria[/name], [name]Priscilla[/name], possibly [name]Selena[/name], and [name]Helena[/name]/[name]Helene[/name].
Any additions?

[name]Sofia[/name]/[name]Sophia[/name]! Different spellings, but same name. It’s a very pan-European name; I can’t think of a single European country that doesn’t have some and use form of it. Same goes for [name]Anna[/name]. [name]Dora[/name], [name]Georgia[/name]/[name]Giorgia[/name], [name]Katerina[/name]/[name]Caterina[/name], [name]Marianna[/name], [name]Sara[/name], [name]Petra[/name], [name]Zoe[/name], and [name]Stefania[/name] could work as well. But you’re not limited to that- I think there are a lot more names that may not be widely used in both countries but would definitely be usable in both places.
[name]Antonia[/name]. it’s of latin origin and because of this but falls in with both italian and greek circles
Oh thank you so much!
@daisy451, I really like [name]Petra[/name] and [name]Marianna[/name].
@loveday [name]Antonia[/name] is a good one, thank you!
Here is a really long list of Greek names in Italian, you might need a translator to look at them but they’re sort of self explanatory Lista_di_prenomi_greci
Thanks so much!
