Our favorite girl name is [name]Greer[/name], but we’re afraid it’s hard to say. We’re thinking of [name]Anne[/name] [name]Greer[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you think [name]Greer[/name] is hard to say?

It’s actually really intuitive – it’s pronounced just as it’s spelled. It might be a little unusual to those who aren’t familiar, but I don’t think it’s hard to say. I really like [name]Greer[/name] as a first name too! Very pretty!!

I think [name]Greer[/name] sounds out fairly well. It makes me think of [name]Greer[/name] [name]Garson[/name]. The name is cute and unusual, a winning combination. If you really love [name]Greer[/name], I think you should use it.

I agree that [name]Greer[/name] is pretty intuitive to say. However (as much as I like [name]Anne[/name]) I don’t think it works with [name]Greer[/name].

All I hear is “angrier”

[name]Anna[/name] [name]Greer[/name] would be lovely though as would [name]Annabel[/name] [name]Greer[/name].
I like [name]Jane[/name] [name]Greer[/name] too

I luuuurve [name]Greer[/name]!
If you you use it as a middle, here are some combos:
[name]Emma[/name] [name]Greer[/name]
[name]Lillian[/name] [name]Greer[/name] (this sounds like an old hollywood movie star!)
[name]Vivien[/name] [name]Greer[/name]
[name]Isla[/name] [name]Greer[/name]
[name]Laurel[/name] [name]Greer[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Greer[/name] (This may be too harsh…)
[name]Bella[/name] [name]Greer[/name]

I also love [name]Greer[/name]! But I agree with whoever said that [name]Anne[/name] [name]Greer[/name] isn’t great, only because it sounds like ‘angrier’. [name]Greer[/name] [name]Anne[/name] however would be beautiful. [name]Both[/name] beautiful names. If you want [name]Anne[/name] as a first name, maybe add another middle name in there - [name]Anne[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Greer[/name]? Or [name]Anna[/name] [name]Greer[/name] is nice!
Good luck!

I did not realize how much [name]Ann[/name] [name]Greer[/name] can sound like “angrier.” That’s a really good observation! Thank you - - mayber [name]Anna[/name] [name]Greer[/name] will be better.

This is right on time, my husband really likes “[name]Greer[/name]” for a girl and I was immediately against it becaus e of [name]Brooke[/name] Sheilds ([name]Grier[/name]) and Kesley Grammar both naming their daughters this. But, I am warming up to it, I definately like it better for a girl than a boy. Thanks for the positive thoughts on this name!!!

We had CVS, and turns out the baby is a boy! So, we won’t be naming a little girl [name]Greer[/name] (at least not in the immediate future!)
