Well, I don’t know! I think that I’ve told you before, but I love love love your kids’ names. And your list for the new little guy is great as well. Here are my thoughts-
[name_m]Linus[/name_m] Henry-I think it’s adorable, but do you really love it? You said that you like it, but aren’t sure that you want to call him [name_m]Linus[/name_m]. And I can see that. It’s so sweet, but is it too quirky?
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] -Frederick is super handsome & feels grounded. But then it has the spunky lovable nns of [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] & [name_m]Fitz[/name_m]. I like [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] more myself, but I do find [name_m]Fitz[/name_m] sort of more intriguing. Both go great w/your crew. I love [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m], but I’m all about honoring Grandpas. [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] is perfect.
Sonny-I’m not personally into [name_u]Sonny[/name_u]. It feels quite nick-name-y on its own. Hard to picture on an adult.
Hugh-Hugh is handsome. But it seems so short to me. I like it more in theory than the actual sound. I like [name_m]Hughie[/name_m]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you? It may or may not be unavoidable. [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] sounds really handsome.
Enzo-I lke it. It’s a cool name. It feels a little bit different from [name_f]Greta[/name_f], [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_u]Ira[/name_u] style wise. And it feels a bit close to [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] sound wise. Not deal breakers; just a way to narrow it down.
I adore [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] with [name_f]Greta[/name_f], [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_u]Ira[/name_u]! [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] is a great combo. I also like [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] [name_m]Linus[/name_m].
[name_f]My[/name_f] second favourite is [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Jones[/name_m]. This combo has a lovely flow and I think it works really well with sibs names. I do love [name_m]Fitz[/name_m] … I immediately think of the character from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., a really positive association. [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] is great, too.
I really like [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] for you. I especially love the middle name [name_m]Jones[/name_m] with the middle name [name_m]Clayburn[/name_m]. So utterly charming. I want to love [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] for you but personally feel [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] is a better fit with your sibset. I absolutely LOVE [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] for you is short, sweet, and strong. I really like that it is 2 syllables just like [name_u]Ira[/name_u].
We have a toddler Linus and I was concerned with nicknames at first! But they have happened naturally. We call him Liney, Lino, and Buggy play around with it and something will stick!
I think [name_m]Linus[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is my favorite! It fits so nicely with your girl names (which are beautiful by the way). [name_f]Linny[/name_f] for a nickname?
