What do you think of the name [name]Greyson[/name]? I’ve always liked this name, but recently started liking it even more when I found out that one meaning of the name is ‘bailiff’s son.’ My name means ‘bailiff’ so I think its a cute connection.

Which spelling do you prefer, [name]Greyson[/name] or [name]Grayson[/name]? [name]How[/name] many Greysons do you know and how old are they? What names would you suggest as a brother to [name]Greyson[/name]?

I prefer [name]Grayson[/name], and the love the nn [name]Gray[/name]…I don’t know ANYONE with that name from where I’m from.

The only [name]Gray[/name] I knew was an Aussie named [name]Graham[/name]. [name]Greyson[/name]/[name]Grayson[/name] is cool and I say go for it. Has a British/colonial feel to it so that’s where I’d look for a sib name.

I love [name]Grayson[/name]! I actually know 2, one goes by [name]Grayson[/name] and one goes by [name]Gray[/name]. I think it’s an “old south” name. I’m from NC and [name]Louisiana[/name], so that may be why I’ve seen it more often.

I have loved this name since 1993 and now that I am finally expecting, we aren’t using it! :frowning: [name]Grey[/name] is the British way and [name]Gray[/name] is the Americanized way of spelling the word. I think [name]Gray[/name] LOOKS older? [name]Don[/name]‘t know why? I always liked [name]Grey[/name]/[name]Greyson[/name] more. I actually would like to see this name flip over to the girls’ side b/c the nn [name]Grace[/name] is perfect! I wanted to do [name]Grey[/name] [name]Catherine[/name].

I think it’s super trendy right now, I have heard a lot of babies named this. Mostly boys, only one girl.

[name]Love[/name] it. I’m from [name]Saint[/name] [name]Louis[/name] and know two kids named [name]Grayson[/name]. My nephew is 11 and my friend’s son is 2 or 3. Super cute for a little boy, and sophisticated on a grown man :slight_smile:

I refer the [name]Greyson[/name] spelling just because I can see [name]Grayson[/name] being easily turned into [name]Gay[/name]-son (children are cruel).

I think [name]Greyson[/name] will be lost in the midst of trendy names and will seem dated in a few years but [name]Grey[/name] is a lot more handsome and time lasting :slight_smile:
