[name_f]My[/name_f] only clue is that it has nickname potential but it’s not automatic (ie [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] would automatically be [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] but [name_f]Melody[/name_f] wouldn’t automatically be [name_u]Mel[/name_u] even though she could, does that make sense?)
They think it’s unusual - not unheard of but unlikely to guess, apparently - and we live in [name_u]South[/name_u] [name_u]West[/name_u] [name_u]England[/name_u] for context.

I’m trying to think of names that are outside the [name_u]England[/name_u] and [name_m]Wales[/name_m] top 500 if it is an “unusual” name. [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] may seem unusual but they are actually both in the top 100!
[name_f]My[/name_f] first guess is [name_f]Loretta[/name_f] based on the names [name_m]Winston[/name_m] and [name_m]Raymond[/name_m] because it gives the same vibes and there are ways it can be shortened (Etta is the most intuitive I think!)
