I have a fairly long list of boy GP names, here’s my favourites & why I can’t use them:
[name_m]Timon[/name_m] - I’m a Disney nerd & I know I have the name Kovu in my boys list which is another [name_m]Lion[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] name but it isn’t as well known as [name_m]Timon[/name_m] which I think would have a lot of teasing potential due to the film.
Sonic - damn hedgehog
Rowley - so many people around me keep prn. this wrong & keep saying Rowdy (disruptive, rude, wild, unruly etc.) which isn’t something you want to call a child
[name_m]Olaf[/name_m] - “do you wanna build a snowman?” Lol
[name_m]Sirius[/name_m] - I love the name but I actually can’t stand [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] (ok on the books, hate the films) & I wouldn’t want the comments about the name being from [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m].
[name_m]Ryder[/name_m] - love, love, love this but with my last name it sounds dreadful.
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] - “”"
[name_m]Kristoff[/name_m] - not only the frozen reference but the [name_u]Kris[/name_u] part makes this name completely unusable due to bad relationships with someone names [name_u]Chris[/name_u]. For that reason [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] is also unusable even though I love it.
[name_u]Silver[/name_u] - I always think of a pirate & I worry the name has teasing potential.
[name_u]Oakley[/name_u] - too trendy / unisex for me to use now.
Trua - me & my son have pretty strong anti-captivity beliefs & this is a name of a Sea World orca. My son would never ever allow me to use it.
[name_m]Farley[/name_m] - I’m from the UK so just like with my girls GP Tetley (Tetley teabags) the name [name_m]Farley[/name_m] isn’t usable. [name_f]Every[/name_f] time I mention [name_m]Farley[/name_m] everyone always asks ‘what like [name_m]Farley[/name_m] Rusks the baby food?’
