[name_m]Alaric[/name_m] - usable for sure and [name_m]Aric[/name_m]/[name_m]Ric[/name_m]/[name_m]Al[/name_m] are all usable nn
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] - GP for Americans too feminine
[name_m]Boston[/name_m] - I would say GP for first name
[name_u]Madison[/name_u] - GP like [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_u]Madigan[/name_u] is a good alternative
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] - ^^ [name_u]Avery[/name_u] could work instead
[name_m]Callan[/name_m] - usable [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] is better though
[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] - usable especially with nn [name_m]Link[/name_m]
[name_m]Hector[/name_m] - ehh not sure I would say usable
[name_m]Hamish[/name_m] - GP
[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] - 100% usable
[name_f]Cece[/name_f] - usable but it’s much better as a nn because I don’t think this would age well but that just might be me
[name_f]Zaina[/name_f] - usable
[name_u]Ariel[/name_u] - usable but if you’re worried go with [name_f]Arielle[/name_f]/[name_f]Aurelie[/name_f]/[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]
Aofie - If this was [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] I would say usable because I know one but I don’t know about Aofie
[name_m]Alaric[/name_m]: This one’s easy to read and easy to say. I think it’s usable.
[name_u]Addison[/name_u]: Unfortunately, I think the girls have taken this one over, so any boy with this name would robably get mistaken for a girl on paper.
[name_m]Boston[/name_m]: It just seems a bit tacky to me, particularly if the parents have no connection to [name_m]Boston[/name_m] the city. Kind of like naming your kid [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u].
[name_u]Madison[/name_u]: See [name_u]Addison[/name_u].
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]: I knew an [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] that was a boy before, and I don’t think of it as especially feminine. I think this one could work.
[name_m]Callan[/name_m]: This one’s nice. It’s unusual and sounds trendy without actually being ultra-trendy on the lists right now.
[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]: I can think of a few young children with this name. I think it’s usable, and it comes with cool nn [name_m]Link[/name_m].
[name_m]Hector[/name_m]: This one seems fine, interesting even.
[name_m]Hamish[/name_m]: I’m from [name_u]America[/name_u], and I don’t think this name would be usable there. Maybe as a middle. However, I think it’s more recognizable in [name_m]Britain[/name_m]? If you live in a place where people know this name and how to pronounce it, I think it’s perfectly usable.
[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f]: I think this one’s perfectly acceptable!
[name_f]Cece[/name_f]: Too much of a nickname. Maybe short for [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]?
[name_f]Zaina[/name_f]: This one’s just hard for me to say, but I don’t think it’s completely out of the question. You might get a few weird misspellings, like [name_f]Zyna[/name_f], [name_f]Zina[/name_f], etc.
[name_u]Ariel[/name_u]: Cute, and I’ve known an [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] in the past. As far as I know, she didn’t get any [name_m]Little[/name_m] Mermaid jokes.
Aofie: I’m not quite sure how this name is supposed to be pronounced. Is it the Irish [name_f]Aoife[/name_f]? I’m not particularly fond of Irish spellings, especially not in places where they aren’t recognized. But if you live in a place where they are, by all means use it.
Boys
[name_m]Alaric[/name_m]- Unusual, but perfectly usable.
[name_u]Addison[/name_u]- It is probably a too bit feminine now- maybe something like [name_m]Adler[/name_m], [name_m]Adlai[/name_m], [name_m]Adriel[/name_m], [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] or [name_m]Adaiah[/name_m]?
[name_m]Boston[/name_m]- I think it is perfectly usable- I know a couple of [name_m]Boston[/name_m]'s.
[name_u]Madison[/name_u]- Gone to the girls. [name_m]Mackson[/name_m], [name_u]Madigan[/name_u], [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] or [name_m]Maddoc[/name_m] would be a better choice.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]- Gone to the girls. [name_m]Autry[/name_m] could be a good alternative.
[name_m]Callan[/name_m]- I think it is usable, but it would be mistaken for [name_m]Callum[/name_m] an awful lot.
[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]- Usable- it’s pretty common.
[name_m]Hector[/name_m]- Usable- it is a little more out there than other vintage / classic choices like [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], but I think it could easily make a comeback.
[name_m]Hamish[/name_m]- Perfectly usable and actually pretty common where I live (Australia).
Girls
[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f]- Perfectly usable.
[name_f]Cece[/name_f]- It is usable, but it does give off a bit of a showgirl vibe. [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] / any name beginning with ‘C’ would be a more substantial way to get this nickname.
[name_f]Zaina[/name_f]- Usable, but it looks a bit trendy / '80’s sci fi.
[name_u]Ariel[/name_u]- Perfectly usable. I know three [name_u]Ariel[/name_u]'s, all of different ages.
Aofie- Not usable. Too confusing. [name_m]How[/name_m] is this pronounced? Is this a typo of [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] (which is still unusable in most places), or a different name? Could you use a phonetic spelling?
[name_m]Alaric[/name_m], [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m], [name_m]Hector[/name_m], Gorgiana and [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] are all usable in my opinion
