So I find myself falling deeper in-love with [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]. I want a general sense of people’s thoughts on its usability, and please help me with possible nicknames!
Thanks a billion
It’s braver than I typically go for (most goddess names are), but I do think it’s usable! I have heard of people with this name.
Nicknames:
[name_m]Art[/name_m]
[name_m]Artie[/name_m]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u]
Artemis reminds me a lot of the three musketeers even though that’s not even a name for any of them but just gives me the same vibe. It’s a pretty good association for me. I think it would make a good name.
I think it’s brave but definitely usable. [name_f]Athena[/name_f] looks likely to reach the top 100 soon. I love [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]!
It’s a little out of my comfort zone but definitely could be usable!
I commented on a recent post about the name, but it is totally useable. I am sat next to an [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] right now and know two others!!
So for me it’s useable my old drama teacher had two children [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] & [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] as a result of this I associate the name with her daughter. I think [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] is a really enchanting choice I think it’s usable.
Definitely useable! It would be distinctive for sure but not a GP.
It’s brave but I think it’s usable! I’d love to meet a little [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]
It’s usable.
Artemis is easy to say and shares sounds with the popular [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Aria[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]! I think it could be usable
Nicknames could be
Ari
[name_m]Artie[/name_m]
[name_f]Emmy[/name_f]
[name_u]Issy[/name_u]
I thinks it’s absolutely usable. It’s well recognized and in line with other names becoming more popular ([name_f]Athena[/name_f], [name_u]Atlas[/name_u], etc).
As for nicknames, my favorite is actually [name_f]Missy[/name_f] because I like the duality it brings to [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] given that people frequently think it’s “too masculine”
100% usable, and I love it!
Totally usable!
It’s very usable to me. I agree with @LoneStar about nn [name_f]Missy[/name_f].
Artemis is 100% usable in my opinion, but I am very biased haha. I really like [name_u]Isa[/name_u] (Iz-uh) as a nn.
I love this one, its an old favourite of mine. Definitely useable.
I really like it, and think it’s usable. [name_u]Ari[/name_u] or [name_m]Artie[/name_m] feel like the most obvious nicknames, but I love the suggestion of [name_u]Remy[/name_u]! [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Tess[/name_f]?
i love [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] actually!! I have the combo [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] on my list :))
nn [name_f]Missy[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] maybe? x
Definitely usable. I prefer it on a boy. Maybe the association with the nn [name_m]Art[/name_m], makes me think boy, the -emis ending is so feminine however. I think it’s lovely and such a great meaning.
