Replying to [name]Amanda[/name]'s posts here lately have really made me appreciate the meaning behind word names for some people and I have totally fallen in love with a lot of new word names. I also rekindled my old love for several of them too.
I’m using 3 word names in my baby combos – [name]Willow[/name], [name]Saga[/name], and Mist – and all have meaning for me. Here’s my other guilty pleasure word names:

So do you guys have any guilty pleasure (or maybe not so guilty) word name loves?
I love [name]River[/name], [name]Story[/name], [name]Lotus[/name], & [name]Fable[/name]. [name]How[/name] about [name]Bay[/name]? I love this name—especially as a middle. Word names always seem to hold some sort of meaning for the people who use them, and I find myself being baffled by some.
I like Grave for a name but yeah wouldn’t go down well.

I actually know a [name]Whimsy[/name]. I just met her and her. Her brothers are [name]Noble[/name], [name]Loyal[/name], [name]Justice[/name], and [name]Sage[/name] (this seemed really sort of corny all together). I actually quite like [name]Journey[/name] too (but on a boy) and I just suggested [name]Caprice[/name] to [name]Amanda[/name] earlier. Along your lines of [name]North[/name], I like [name]West[/name] a lot (He was a hero in a books series I love).
You also reminded me that I want to use [name]Quill[/name] as a nickname for [name]Quillon[/name] (on my list) and so technically, I’m using 4 words names
I love [name]Calico[/name] and [name]Cameo[/name], I also like all sorts of virture names such as [name]Remember[/name] and [name]Mercy[/name], along with jewel names such as [name]Emerald[/name] and [name]Saphire[/name].
I [name]ADORE[/name] word names! I intend on using them in my kid’s names. Although these aren’t the only ones I like, these are the ones that’ve been floating around my mind for my list: [name]Fable[/name], [name]Sonnet[/name], [name]Story[/name], [name]Fox[/name], [name]Finch[/name], [name]Lark[/name], [name]Bear[/name], [name]Ace[/name], [name]Poet[/name], [name]Truth[/name], [name]Maple[/name], [name]North[/name], [name]Bay[/name], [name]Quill[/name], [name]Sage[/name], and [name]Cameo[/name]. I forgot all about [name]Calico[/name] and I [name]LOVE[/name] that
I quite like a lot of word names, but I do not like them paired with other words, I think it sounds like a sentence or a description of some sort, not a name.
I love Solace, [name]Bravery[/name], [name]Glory[/name], [name]Story[/name], [name]Winter[/name]…Solace, especially, has had my attention recently.
I love word names. But I think for me, they are not so much as Guilty Pleasure but I think I would actually use some of them. I have found that I prefer them on a girl, so my girls list will probably be longer:

I’ve never really been a fan of word names (except for the usual flowers/gems/virtues/etc. that have a history as names), but I have been seriously crushing on [name]Snow[/name] lately. Wouldn’t use it as a first name, and even as a sole middle name, that’s pushing it, but as a second middle? [name]Love[/name]! (I like the combo [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Snow[/name].)
