I would like to use a less common name to honor my mother, [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f]. Right now my preference is [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], but I’ve been thinking about [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]. The main problem (other than the Arthurian connection) is that I can’t think of a nickname I would use and like. I don’t like [name_f]Gwen[/name_f], [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] or [name_f]Vera[/name_f] and my own nickname is [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. Are there any other nickname possibilities?

[name_f]Neve[/name_f], possibly? It’s a little close to [name_f]Evie[/name_f], but I think it still works. [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] could also be a possibility 
I love [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], but I think I prefer [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] too. Both are lovely, though.
[name_f]Ginny[/name_f] maybe?
I was going to suggest [name_f]Neve[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] too but I see someone has beat me to it.
I also like the idea of [name_u]Ever[/name_u] as a nickname for [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f].

Guin (like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] with a g) is the most obvious one to me. It makes far more sense than [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] anyway, lol.
There’s also G, or [name_f]Gigi[/name_f].
I had [name_f]Viv[/name_f] suggested to me once as a nn for [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] and I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] that. [name_f]Neve[/name_f] is my second favourite.

I really love [name_f]Viva[/name_f] for a nickname for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], but was figuring I couldn’t pull it off with [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] since it only has one V.
[name_f]Neve[/name_f] could grow on me for sure.
Some random ideas: Very, [name_f]Nivi[/name_f], [name_u]Reeve[/name_u], Vee… Comments?
