Gus and Wes- too close?

I love the names [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] and [name_m]Wesley[/name_m], or [name_m]August[/name_m] and [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] for brothers.

However we are a real nickname family so I like to make sure names are nn proof :joy:[name_f][/name_f] would [name_m]Gus[/name_m] and [name_m]Wes[/name_m] work or are they too similar?

I think they’re fine [name_f][/name_f]- and even fab together! The different starting letter & vowel makes them sound distinct. [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] and [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]! (August isn’t as pluckish to me and I don’t like the risk of Auggie).

I think [name_m]Gus[/name_m] and [name_m]Wes[/name_m] work well together! The sounds are distinct enough for me :slight_smile:

As full names I’d say no, but as nicknames I think it’s fine! For [name_m]August[/name_m], you could also do [name_m]Auggie[/name_m] for a less rhymey nickname.

Too close I think for my[name_f][/name_f] taste, but totally useable! I tend to get similar names mixed up easily so that’s just me. I think their vibes go very well together too.

I think [name_m]Gus[/name_m] & [name_m]Wes[/name_m] are fine! [name_f][/name_f] Maybe a little similar but not bad. [name_f][/name_f] If you’re concerned, maybe [name_m]Auggie[/name_m] and [name_m]Wes[/name_m] could work instead?

[name_m]Gus[/name_m] and [name_m]Wes[/name_m] are a very charismatic duo. I adore [name_m]August[/name_m] and [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] for brothers. Both names are very handsome.

I think you would only have a problem with [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] and [name_m]August[/name_m]! [name_m]Wes[/name_m] and [name_m]Gus[/name_m] work just fine together.
