I’m currently 7 months pregnant with our second boy and cannot for the life of me, decide on a name! My husband and I both like [name]Gus[/name] and [name]Shep[/name]… we want a short name or 2 syllable name, nothing popular… we like older, unique names. We haven’t thought of any middle names either… we named our first son [name]Silas[/name]! I’m so indecisive and need your help, please:)

Is it just [name]Gus[/name] or [name]Shep[/name], or is it [name]August[/name] and [name]Shepherd[/name]? [name]Both[/name] are still short, punchy, and two-syllables and I love both! Plus you get a more formal first name that fits better [name]IMO[/name] with [name]Silas[/name]. I would probably go with [name]Shep[/name]/[name]Shepherd[/name] because [name]Silas[/name] and [name]August[/name] both have that long S sound at the end, and it’s a little matchy, but not too much. I don’t think you could go wrong with either.

[name]Gus[/name] is lovely, but I do see [name]Shep[/name] as a dog’s name. [name]Silas[/name] and [name]Gus[/name] are fine together.
[name]August[/name] “[name]Gus[/name]” goes nicely with [name]Silas[/name].
I like [name]Silas[/name] and [name]August[/name] nn [name]Gus[/name]. [name]Shep[/name] reminds me of the dog food.
