[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I have been trying to find a longer version of the name [name_u]Gus[/name_u] that we like. So far- nothing. And we have looked at them ALL! :o) [name_f]My[/name_f] husband decided the other day that he really likes the name Guster. I am not sold that this would be a normal first name. What do you think? Guster- yay or nay? :smiley:

Honestly all I can think of is [name_u]Gus[/name_u] from Psych as his last name is Guster so I would have to say nay it doesn’t seem like a first name to me.

Guster is the dog’s name in “Life as a House”. I love that movie and how fine [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] Christensen looks in it, but I do not love Guster as a name for a human.

I would pass. It just doesn’t sound like a person name. It would work for a dog, though. What about [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_m]Angus[/name_m], [name_m]Fergus[/name_m], [name_m]Gustav[/name_m]?

It sounds like ghost and buster mashed into one word so I say nay. Now I have the Ghost Busters theme song stuck in my head. Who ya gonna call? :slight_smile:
