[name_u]Baby[/name_u] girl due in a month! What are your thoughts on the names [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] ([name_f]Millie[/name_f]), or [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]? Any other suggestions? Thank you!
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f], absolutely! I prefer the nickname [name_f]Lia[/name_f] though…
Spooky! [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] were my grandparents names!
They are both very sweet names! I really think [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is beautiful, but it is getting a lot of use now. Your choice of [name_f]Millie[/name_f] makes it stand out. I used to dislike [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], and I always wondered why, because I love [name_f]Gwen[/name_f], [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f], [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], etc. But lately I’m really warming up to the beauty of [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f].
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]!
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]! So adorable and spunky.
I really love [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], I think its beautiful. [name_m]Just[/name_m] not a fan of [name_u]James[/name_u] as a middle!
I prefer [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] to [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], though I’ll admit I love “[name_f]Millie[/name_f]” as a nickname. So my pick is [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u].
I love the name [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], so [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]. While I like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], I’ve seen so many [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]'s lately. On the plus side, [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]'s very versatile for nicknames, while [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] isn’t.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] gets my vote.
I really love [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], though my favourite spellings are the ones without the y ([name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f], [name_f]Gwendoline[/name_f]) but tbh [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] is more well-known and more likely to be spelled right.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is fine but too popular for me, and [name_f]Millie[/name_f] is cute but my favourite long name for it is [name_f]Camellia[/name_f] like the flower.
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] does not appeal to me unless its honouring a family member. [name_u]James[/name_u] is fine. The rhythm of [name_f]Louise[/name_f] that puts the accent on the second syllable does sound nice; it’s just I would pick a different one.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is to common for my liking, even though it is beautiful. [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] is adorable!
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]!!!
I’m not a huge fan of [name_u]James[/name_u] but they work well together and I strongly prefer [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] to [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is so pretty.
My vote goes to [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]! I think it’s more unusual and interesting. If I met a child named [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] I’d go “oh pretty” and then move on. But if I met a child named [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] I’d stop and say “wow what a beautiful, unusual name!” I’d probably remember her name, whereas I might forget [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. Both are lovely names, but [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] just has so much more magic for me.
They’re both nice!
I lean a little more towards [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] as I find it more unique/ interesting
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], by far. There are so many Amelias that the name just doesn’t do much for me, though [name_f]Millie[/name_f] is a cute nn. [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] sounds very elegant and distinctive (assuming [name_u]James[/name_u] is a surname), plus you get the lovely diminutive [name_f]Gwen[/name_f].
I love both! I’d add [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] as well. I love [name_u]James[/name_u] as a middle.
Definitely [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. I much prefer both names, and I think [name_u]James[/name_u] sounds a little odd with super-feminine [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f].
100% [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]! It feels as if every other baby is named [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] these days. [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] is unique, classy and has so many cute nicknames.
I love both [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]! I’m not fond of [name_u]James[/name_u] on a girl personally, but [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] would still get my vote. (I think [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] would be amazing, though, if you’re open to using both names at once!)
I love [name_f]Louise[/name_f], but much prefer [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]/[name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] to [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] as a first name, so my vote is for [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]. I agree with pp that [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is a lovely name!
