I’m due in a few weeks and still getting nowhere with our second sons name! My husband says I’m being too fussy
Our first son is [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] (nn [name_m]Archie[/name_m]). His name came easily for me but I’m really struggling with a name I love as much as his (and that will make a perfect sibset)
Our surname rhymes with [name_u]Perry[/name_u].
I’m more open to unusual names whereas DH is more of a traditional name lover.
We like:
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] - but it is so common, and we have someone in the family with this name :-?
I like:
[name_u]Theo[/name_u] nn [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]
[name_m]Franklin[/name_m] nn [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]
I think that if you both like [name_m]Jack[/name_m], that’s the name you should go with. [name_m]Plenty[/name_m] of families have people with the same name in them (there are five [name_m]Greg[/name_m]'s in my own family, just on my mothers side) so I don’t think that will pose much of an issue for you.
I have always loved [name_m]Archie[/name_m] / [name_m]Archer[/name_m] but we decided on [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] with our son currently looking for a name for #3 so thank you for this post! I also think [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] sounds good with [name_m]Archer[/name_m]
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is perfect!
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_u]Reid[/name_u] is my second favourite; I also like [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m].
I also like [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] but worry that it could be shortened to [name_m]Harry[/name_m] which, while so cute, might be too rhyme-y with your last name?
