Thoughts on [name_u]Halston[/name_u] or [name_m]Holston[/name_m] for a boy? Immediately I thought of the [name_u]Easton[/name_u]/Weston/Austin type names, which I like… but curious to know what others think when they hear it.
Strikes me as a last name or family name but I think it would make a nice first name too.
I love [name_u]Halston[/name_u] for a boy! I prefer [name_u]Halston[/name_u] to [name_m]Holston[/name_m]- [name_m]Holston[/name_m] reminds me of the word holster. I think it sounds cool and a little cowboy-ish, which I like!
I like [name_u]Halston[/name_u] a lot, and [name_m]Holston[/name_m] is okay. I get more [name_u]Spencer[/name_u], [name_u]Ashton[/name_u], [name_m]Yates[/name_m], [name_u]Holden[/name_u] preppy vibes from [name_u]Halston[/name_u] personally.
Always reminds me of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Tork of the Monkees (I’ve been a stan for a long, long time). His real name was [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Halsten[/name_m] Thorkelson. Always assumed it was a family name and sounded kind of weird, and now I see [name_u]Halston[/name_u] popping up in places and it’s funny to think that people will be naming their kids that like it’s a normal name. (Sorry, I know you like it, I just have never really been into the surname trend and those kinds of names don’t appeal much to me unless it’s a family name.)
Halston has a cool and strong vibe
I like [name_u]Halston[/name_u]. Not a fan of [name_m]Holston[/name_m] though.
I do agree that it reminds me of the [name_u]Easton[/name_u]/Weston kind of vibe.
Halston is (was) a clothing designer. It’s up to each person to decide, but I wouldn’t want my child to be called Cassini or Givenchy (though that’s a cool name) or Vuitton or [name_u]Halston[/name_u].
I love [name_m]Hallam[/name_m].
Holston I’ve never heard. Sounds like a cross between [name_u]Halston[/name_u] and a holster.
