I don’t know how else to explain it, lol. [name]Both[/name] [name]Hannah[/name] and [name]Annie[/name] (which would have a fuller name with the nn [name]Annie[/name]) are huge contenders for the last couple of spots on my short list (along with [name]Eve[/name] nn [name]Evie[/name] and [name]Jocelyn[/name] nn [name]Joss[/name]/[name]Posy[/name]), but I think they’re too close for sisters, and I’ve been thinking more and more about [name]Annie[/name] as a nn for [name]Hannah[/name]. My problem has always been that [name]Annie[/name] is no longer than [name]Hannah[/name], and so using it as a nn for [name]Hannah[/name] seems sort of… pointless to me. Why not just use the fuller [name]Hannah[/name]? But I don’t want to give up [name]Hannah[/name] or [name]Annie[/name], and the idea of using [name]Annie[/name] as an occasional nn for [name]Hannah[/name] has been appealing to me more and more. I know it could work… I just don’t know if it’s worth it, lol. [name]Just[/name] wondering what others think–a good idea, or sort of pointless?
If it matters, I’ve been thinking [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] or [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Eve[/name] as a combo.
I don’t think it’s pointless if you like [name]Hannah[/name] with [name]Annie[/name] as a nickname go ahead and use it, I also like [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] the most out of your two possible name choices.
[name]Both[/name] [name]Hannah[/name] and [name]Annie[/name] are variants of [name]Ann[/name]. So, [name]Hannah[/name] nn [name]Annie[/name] is the same as [name]Mariska[/name] nn [name]Mimi[/name] (both variants of [name]Mary[/name])
I love both of your combos, especially [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Eve[/name]! I think [name]Hannah[/name] nn [name]Annie[/name] is perfectly fine, and there’s no reason not to do it. Nicknames don’t have to be shorter than the actual name. For example, my name is [name]Anne[/name], but my nickname, [name]Annie[/name], is longer.
[name]Hannah[/name] nn [name]Annie[/name] is gorgeous!! I’ve never actually met a [name]Hannah[/name] with the nn [name]Annie[/name]. They all have Han, or no nn. To me, Han is sort of…er…lame. But with [name]Annie[/name], its shows that the parent is ‘thinking’, and using there brains, if you get what mean!!
[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Eve[/name], accept in New Zealand, there is a shop called [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Eve[/name].
