Last [name]Christmas[/name] my brother-in-law thought it would be funny to give everyone lottery tickets as gifts. Well, the joke was on him when our ticket came up to be the winner of the big prize. $178,000,000!! We did take pity on him and gave him $10,000,000. He did give us the ticket so we thought it was the least we could do for him. After giving my brother-in-law his share we gave our 10% tithe, started savings/college funds for the kids, paid off our debts, bought a new car, remodeled our house, donated to the school, and cancer research, and put the rest in savings. When our baby turned 2 we decided to take a trip to Lithuania and while there hubby and I remembered our agreement to adopt once. We checked out the local orphanage and fell in love with a little baby girl only 2 weeks old. She was so precious with her brown hair and blue eyes. Upon learning that she had 2-year-old twin brothers and a 6-year-old sister we knew we couldn’t split them up. They’d been calling the baby girl Ruta and we decided to keep that as part of her name. Welp, the joke was on him when out ticket came up to be the winner of the big prize. $178,00,000!! We did take pity on him & gave him $10,000,000. He did give us the ticket so we thought it was the least we could do for him. We split the rest of the money into each of the kids college funds. Witch our kids growing up healthy & happy we thought that our perfect (or maybe not) little family was complete. Seems like fate had other plans, though. In the span of the next couple years, we gained much in the way of family (& pets).

First, we got a call from the [name_u]French[/name_u] orphanage we got [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f], the (male) twins, & [name_u]Angie[/name_u] from, saying that they desperately needed someone to adopt a family of three siblings (one-two) about to be split up by the system. We couldn’t let that happen & so they were adopted right away. Their names were [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (2), [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (2), & [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Mael[/name_m] (two months).

The next year, we found a stray dog that had wondered up onto our property & given birth. It was a beautiful Border [name_f]Collie[/name_f] & the litter that she gave birth to in our garage had five puppies. They were all so adorable we had to keep them. Their names are [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] (mother), [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] (girl puppy), [name_m]Ron[/name_m] (boy puppy), [name_u]James[/name_u] (boy puppy), [name_f]Lily[/name_f] (girl puppy), & [name_u]Harry[/name_u] (boy puppy).

I hadn’t needed a nap since I was a little kid, but I suddenly started dozing every afternoon around 1:00, and for some strange reason the smell of eggs cooking would make me feel queasy. At our first appointment we were pleased to hear that everything was going well. The heartbeats were strong and, wait, heartbeats?? Yep, we were having twins. 2 years later and our twins are now 2 Our jobs are going well and we love our little family so much we’ve decided to try again to add to it. It doesn’t take long until we’re expecting. This time it’s only one and we name him [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u].

When [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] turned 1 we decided to take a trip to [name_u]England[/name_u] and while there [name_m]Brian[/name_m] and I remembered our agreement to adopt once. We checked out the local orphanage and fell in love with a little baby girl only 2 weeks old. She was so precious with her blonde hair and green eyes. Upon learning that she had 2-year-old twin brothers and a 6-year-old sister we knew we couldn’t split them up. They’d been calling the baby girl [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and we decided to keep that name as part of her name. Her brothers were [name_u]Jackson[/name_u] and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] and her sister was named [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. We kept their first names as middle names, but gave them all new first names. We let the older sister help pick her own name. They are now named [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] [name_u]Jackson[/name_u], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] and [name_u]Nova[/name_u] [name_f]Isla[/name_f].

Our little 3-bedroom home is now too small for our growing family and we decided to move to a new house. With our big move we’ve also decided to get a dog who we name [name_u]Bear[/name_u]. We also try for another baby but we get triplets, 2 girls and a boy. We name the triplets [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] “Nell”, [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u].

Now our kids are 7 ([name_f]Luna[/name_f]), 4 ([name_f]Addy[/name_f] and [name_u]Abby[/name_u]), 3 (Daniel and Oliver), 2 ([name_m]Harvey[/name_m]), 1 ([name_u]Nova[/name_u]), 6 weeks ([name_f]Nell[/name_f], [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] and [name_u]James[/name_u]) and growing fast. Last [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] my brother-in-law [name_u]Arthur[/name_u] thought it would be funny to give everyone lottery tickets as gifts. Well, the joke was on him when our ticket came up to be the winner of the big prize. $178,000,000!! We did take pity on him and gave him $10,000,000. He did give us the ticket so we thought it was the least we could do for him. We then split the rest between the kids to help them in the future. With all the celebrating I guess we went a little overboard, because in [name_u]September[/name_u] we welcomed a new addition into our family. Now as the kids got older they were bound to start asking for pets. When the begging got to be too much we gave in and let each of them choose a pet. [name_f]Luna[/name_f] gets a Dachshund named [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Addy[/name_f] and [name_u]Abby[/name_u] get a Goldfish each named [name_u]Comet[/name_u] and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] get a Hamster each named [name_f]Cookie[/name_f] and Nibbles, we get [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and [name_u]Nova[/name_u] a Guinea Pig each for when there older named [name_u]Smokey[/name_u] and Inky, we get [name_f]Nell[/name_f], [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_f]Bea[/name_f] a Rabbit each for when there older we name the rabbits [name_u]Milo[/name_u], [name_u]Miles[/name_u], [name_u]Coco[/name_u] and Cappuccino

With our kids growing up healthy and happy we thought our perfect (maybe not so) little family was complete. Seems like fate had other plans, though as this year our family grew even bigger. When our kids were 9 ([name_f]Luna[/name_f] ), 6 ([name_f]Addy[/name_f] and [name_u]Abby[/name_u] ), 5 (Daniel and Oliver), 4 ([name_m]Harvey[/name_m] ), 3 ([name_u]Nova[/name_u] ) 2 ([name_f]Nell[/name_f], [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] and [name_u]James[/name_u] ) and 1 ([name_f]Bea[/name_f]) I went to the doctor for what I thought was a bad case of the fl but it turned out that I was pregnant with quadruplets 2 girls 2 boys, we name them. [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u], [name_u]William[/name_u] [name_u]John[/name_u] “Will” and [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_u]Dean[/name_u] “Eli”. Then a few months later we had a stray dog [name_m]Black[/name_m] Labrador wander onto our property and she delivered her litter of 8 puppies in our garage. Her and her pups were so cute we had to keep them. We named them [name_u]Basil[/name_u] (mother, 4), [name_u]Oreo[/name_u] (f), Pepsi (f), Bagel (m), Waffles (m), [name_u]Dill[/name_u] (m), [name_f]Mint[/name_f] (m), [name_u]Lemon[/name_u] (f), Lime (f).

Now we’er sure our family is complete. We love each and every one of our 15 kids and 20 pets.

We are notified one night by the [name_m]Little[/name_m] Misfits adoption agency, the one that we went through when we adopted [name_f]Josefina[/name_f], [name_m]Miguel[/name_m], [name_m]Diego[/name_m], & [name_f]Marisol[/name_f]. They are desperately looking for someone to adopt a family with two children in it, a girl, &, then a boy, spaced apart by seven years. A distant cousin that I was close with when we were smaller, [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f] Blaire-Lucas, pays us a surprise visit one day & drops the news that, at twenty-one, just starting college, she has a made a mistake & become pregnant. Her ex-boyfriend & the baby’s daddy doesn’t want anything to do with her or the baby & she knows she can’t take care of the child & go to college herself.
