Happy to announce the birth of Gwenevere Hannah

We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter [name_f]Gwenevere[/name_f] [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], born Oct 17th.

Her brothers [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Rudolf[/name_m] [name_m]Von[/name_m] and [name_m]Hardy[/name_m] [name_m]Callaghan[/name_m] are thrilled to have her home.

I would like to thank Nameberry and the community for the great resource of names and discussions. We used the site extensively for all three kids and it led to a lot of entertaining talks within our home.

A little more on the name. Both boys first and middle names were all family inspired. This time we knew were expecting a girl but really struggled to female names in the family tree to use. [name_f]Gwenevere[/name_f] is not a family name but we liked it too much not to use it. We went up until her day of birth debating [name_f]Gwenevere[/name_f] vs just [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]. We decided that we’d let the flow with the middle name dictate it.

The middle name we tried to tie into the family tree. [name_f]Johanne[/name_f] ([name_f]Yo[/name_f]-[name_f]Hanna[/name_f]), [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] and Bessette were the final four. My preference was [name_f]Hanne[/name_f] (pronounced Germanic - Hahna). But Mom having just gone through her 3rd C-section held the final say and chose [name_f]Hannah[/name_f].

We felt [name_f]Gwenevere[/name_f] [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] flowed better than [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] [name_f]Hannah[/name_f].

We chose all E’s for spelling [name_f]Gwenevere[/name_f] for ease of use versus the other possible spellings.

[name_m]Just[/name_m] beautiful!
