Like a really really really hard time. My husband and I had no trouble naming our first little girl ([name]Bridgit[/name] [name]Corrine[/name]) but now that we’re expecting #2 a little boy… We’re having the hardest time finding a good strong name that can fall in line with [name]Bridgit[/name] but stand alone as well. Now our last name is… Cox… I also have a pretty good imagination when in comes to putting names together and finding ways for the little guy to be teased.
We’ve come up with a few names but I’m not sure if I like them, or my husband doesn’t like them…
Oh I really like those together!!! I think it is great that you are thinking to the future teasing that little kids will do. But I love [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Morrisey[/name] together!!
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Morrisey[/name] Cox is so handsome. [name]Jasper[/name] and [name]Brigit[/name] go well together. However, you have to [name]LOVE[/name] the name you’re choosing.
What are some names you [name]LOVE[/name] but wouldn’t fair well with either [name]Brigit[/name] or Cox?
[name]Love[/name] the [name]Jasper[/name] part, and it goes great with [name]Bridgit[/name]. I’m not digging the [name]Morrisey[/name] part though…[name]Jasper[/name] is a colorful name, why not something simple and classic?
I think you did really well. The 2-3-1 rhythm is perfect and [name]Jasper[/name] goes very well with [name]Bridgit[/name]. I like your other choices as well though your style is quite eclectic! And I definitely like [name]Morrisey[/name] in the middle…
I love [name]Jasper[/name], but I think [name]Arthur[/name] Cox flows much better than [name]Jasper[/name] Cox. [name]Arthur[/name] [name]Morrisey[/name] Cox flows great too!
P.S. [name]Jasper[/name] and [name]Arthur[/name] were both on our short list for #2
The more I say [name]Jasper[/name] and [name]Bridgit[/name]… [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Morrisey[/name]… I start to like it.
I tend to go toward names that are very old-fashioned from 1880’s to the 1920’s, and very unique.
We got [name]Bridgit[/name]'s name off an Irish baby name site and you just don’t hear the name very often these days.
I am liking the input and if anyone has any ideas for other names please let me know.
So the debate continues between the husband and I.
While we do like [name]Jasper[/name]… My husband is starting to steer away from it. We’ve toyed with a name like [name]Andre[/name] [name]Bastian[/name] but he wants the ‘s’ in [name]Andres[/name] to be there and then it would sound too much like [name]Andre[/name] S’bastian.
Any other ideas. I’m just lost when it comes to boy names.
What about [name]Anders[/name]? (Doesn’t solve your problem with [name]Bastian[/name] as a middle name though).
I also think Cox, as a simple, one syllable surname, lends itself well to alliteration (there used to be a DJ called [name]Carl[/name] Cox, back in my rave days).
What about [name]Christopher[/name]/[name]Christoph[/name]/[name]Christos[/name]
[name]Clancy[/name]
[name]Clarry[/name]
[name]Callum[/name]
[name]Cormac[/name]
[name]Charles[/name] (not exactly allieration but I think [name]Charles[/name] Cox has a strong sound).
Okay so I kind of want to find a good Irish or Scottish name. Especially since [name]Bridgit[/name] is an Irish name. I’m gonna start looking for some good strong Scottish names.
So here’s what I keep coming back too but need to find good middle names…
I really like [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Morrissey[/name] Cox, but if you are looking for an alternative, I think [name]Donovan[/name] [name]Morrissey[/name] Cox also sounds good.
