Our son is named [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]. We are having another boy and still have names we love that we considered when having [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]. The top of our list is [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]. But is it to wired to have both boys names end in “son”?
I personally feel like they are too close for brothers. Maybe [name_u]Emery[/name_u]?
[name_m]So[/name_m] we have a son named [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]! Funny enough, my husbands fave is [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]! I personally said they are much too close for me with the “son” ending. The other names we considered for him were [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] and [name_u]Emery[/name_u].
I think they are too close. Are there others that you also like? Maybe…
[name_m]Lochlan[/name_m]
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_m]Alistair[/name_m]
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
[name_m]Marcus[/name_m]
I am personally not a huge fan of sibling names that share an ending, such as ‘son’ or ‘er.’ That is just my preference, but I do think [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] and [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] are a little too close. They are the same amount of letters, syllables, and share an ending. Both names are gorgeous! I like the suggestion of [name_u]Emery[/name_u] with [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]. A few other suggestions I have are: [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m], [name_m]Wesley[/name_m], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Russell[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_m]Jonah[/name_m], and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m].
I think it’s fine.
