Harry or Henry??

We are trying to decide on a baby boy name and we started really liking [name_m]Henry[/name_m] but then saw people are using [name_m]Harry[/name_m] and I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Harry[/name_m] as a full name plus it’s not as popular plus are other three kids are [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] no long version either!! So what does everyone think of [name_m]Harry[/name_m] or [name_m]Henry[/name_m]??
Thank you:)

[name_m]Harry[/name_m] is a nn for [name_m]Henry[/name_m].I prefer [name_m]Henry[/name_m] to [name_m]Harry[/name_m] personally, however since your kids have more ‘nicknamey’ first names, I think [name_m]Harry[/name_m] would fit better with your sibset of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_u]Max[/name_u].

I love [name_m]Harry[/name_m]!! [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_m]Harry[/name_m] is a perfect sibset. Perfect about of popularity with your other kids but not as popular as [name_m]Henry[/name_m].

[name_m]Henry[/name_m] is my favourite.

It just feels fresher compared to [name_m]Harry[/name_m] which I hear all the time. Coming from [name_f]England[/name_f] [name_m]Harry[/name_m] is so popular and almost boring. Whereas [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is handsome and just isn’t as heard as much which makes the name more appeasing for me. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I have no issue with popular names. [name_m]Harry[/name_m] is just bland heard way to much.

I agree with @tori101 in UK [name_m]Harry[/name_m] is very popular I know 4 [name_m]Harry[/name_m]'s under 5, and I don’t know that many under 5s, it was 3rd in 2014 whereas [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is 15th, but I think it will continue to rise.
I do think [name_m]Harry[/name_m] fits better with your sibset though.

I like [name_m]Henry[/name_m] better. To me [name_m]Harry[/name_m] sounds like Hairy. JMHO

Although I prefer [name_m]Henry[/name_m], I think [name_m]Harry[/name_m] sounds better with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_u]Max[/name_u].

[name_m]Harry[/name_m] is okay, and I certainly agree that he fits right in with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], and [name_u]Max[/name_u], but I personally like [name_m]Henry[/name_m] more than [name_m]Harry[/name_m] (and probably wouldn’t give a [name_m]Henry[/name_m] the nn [name_m]Harry[/name_m], unless he insisted on it), so I guess it depends on which name you prefer more. If you like just [name_m]Henry[/name_m], I’d go for just [name_m]Henry[/name_m], and I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_u]Max[/name_u], and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is just as great as [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_u]Max[/name_u], and [name_m]Harry[/name_m]. But if you prefer [name_m]Harry[/name_m] and would have used the nn [name_m]Harry[/name_m] for [name_m]Henry[/name_m] anyway, I would go straight to [name_m]Harry[/name_m]. I wouldn’t bother with the formality of [name_m]Henry[/name_m] to get to [name_m]Harry[/name_m] if you’d never use it, when your other children already have semi-nicknamey names already, though. If it were me, I’d just use [name_m]Henry[/name_m], because I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but that’s because I’m not as fond, personally, of [name_m]Harry[/name_m]. But I would go with what you prefer personally–[name_m]Henry[/name_m] or [name_m]Harry[/name_m].

Good luck!

Both! Name him [name_m]Henry[/name_m], call him [name_m]Harry[/name_m].

I love [name_m]Harry[/name_m] but if you like both, it’s easy to make everyone happy.

Tough choice, I love both. If it were me, I would do [name_m]Henry[/name_m] because you can either go by [name_m]Henry[/name_m] or nn [name_m]Harry[/name_m]. However, if I loved [name_m]Harry[/name_m] more, I would go straight for it. You do not seem afraid of nn’s as fn’s, so I wouldn’t let that stop you now.
