Any negative associations with Valencia? If you don’t like it, why?
my only association with valencia is the place! I think its a lovely name, nothing wrong with it at all
I don’t have any negative associations! I like the name and also think of the city.
I don’t have any bad associations it’s a pretty name that has flair
I just think of the Spanish city, which is a neutral association for me.
I think of oranges. No harsh or negative opinions!
[name_f]Valencia[/name_f] has a thoroughly lovely sound. I have two associations: Hispanic ethnicity and oranges.
I don’t care for the name. The closest I could come to a negative association is valances but even that’s a stretch.
[name_f]My[/name_f] first association is the concept of valence (valency?), because it is called valencija in my native language. Then I think of the Spanish city. Neither association is bad and it is a name which could easily fit in with other popular, frilly names nowadays.
I don’t have any negative associations! It’s not my style but a perfectly lovely name.
[name_f]My[/name_f] only association is the city, and I don’t really view that as bad or good. It’s such a lovely name!
I think of the place in Spain. Never been there but I’ve heard it’s really nice. I have no negative associations with this name.
I think of oranges, not really a bad or negative association
valencia is honestly just so pretty no associations, except for a character named valencia ‘val’ a couple years ago.
It’s pretty! It reminds me of [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] and [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f], but much fresher than both.
I should also add I know several people who have this as a surname, so it feels slightly surnamish to me. But I also don’t find that a terrible or negative thing.
It sounds a litle prissy to me, prob fine as a MN.
No negative associations, I’m not keen on the name though. Nothing wrong with it, it’s just something seems off to me. Nevertheless it’s pretty!
For some reason, makes me think of a type of wart…
Haha, well I appreciate the honesty.
