I’m not really a fan of Harvest: it’s too much of a noun and doesn’t seem to translate well into a name, although it seems like it’s on the trendy side right now (not that it’s common, more that it fits a style that’s popular). I can’t decide if it seems more feminine or masculine to me either yet. I can see it being nice as a middle name where there’s some kind of significance to using Harvest in particular - like being born around Thanksgiving. For a kid born in February it might seem kind of random.
[name]Anona[/name] is the [name]Goddess[/name] of Harvest. I am liking [name]Anona[/name] Harvest. I think it is beautiful! I am due in Nov and we have choses Harvest as the middle name for a little girl but no first name yet it is hard to match with a first name. [name]Sienna[/name] Harvest is beautiful also!
I prefer Harvest for a boy.
Solstice comes to mind as a similar type name.

As a pp suggested, I adore the name [name]Anona[/name].
I’m not a fan of Harvest as a name. There’s something creepy about it to me. Maybe because it reminds me of scarecrows?
Oh I quite like Harvest! Im not sure if I would prefer it on a girl or a boy but I am really like the look at feel of it.
Harvest is a little too weird, and believe me, I love weird.
Maybe the weird/creepy vibe is coming from “harvesting organs”?
I kind of like the sound anyway and the feelings it evokes, but I do think it’s more middle name territory for sure.
Now this name is making me think of Children of the Corn!
Ok my brief crush on Harvest is officially over!
But [name]Autumn[/name] is my favorite time of year. I love Halloween & Thanksgiving, big orange moons, hiking & camping in crisp fall air, apple picking, campfires, heartier food, baking, sweaters…any name ideas from this? This is the feeling I was hoping Harvest evoked
I am struggling to think of anything beyond the lists above, which are really comprehensive.
I do think updating [name]Autumn[/name] to Autumnal is kind of cool, in the middle.
Maybe I’ll add [name]Eve[/name] from All Hallow’s [name]Eve[/name], and I think of evenings as particularly lovely in the fall. [name]Evening[/name] as well.
I think Harvest is sort of creepy too. That probably has to do with the phrase “harvesting organs” and associations with Children of the Corn. I would much rather see [name]Harvey[/name] on a boy or another autumn name all together on a girl.
As a side note, I’ve come across Harvester as a middle name on my family tree. That feels more occupational name and a lot less sinister.
I think I prefer it on a boy. And it screams [name]Neil[/name] [name]Young[/name] too, not a bad thing, IMHO. Never thought of harvesting organs! If the OP isn’t still too wierded out by it, I think a boy could pull it off.
