Some birth control can mess with your period and give you light ones to none. I remember seeing a commercial about a pill that let you only have 2 periods a year. I forget the name.
However, since you never missed one, I guess this doesn’t apply, but I just thought about it. Also as for birth control being safe if you are pregnant… I think it really depends on the pill because I have heard of miscarriages due to being on the pill and pregnant. Also on some commercials, they even say “stop taking if pregnant” so I would be on the safe side and stop or call a doctor.
