Has anyone ever heard of this name?

Interesting feedback. Thank you!

I’ve heard of [name_m]Valerian[/name_m], although I say that like vuh-LAIR-ee-an and not [name_f]Valerie[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f]. I don’t like Valerianne tbh because I think [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] is dated, and [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is a common middle name, so it just sounds like a dated name combination. I think [name_m]Valerian[/name_m] is cooler but it’s masculine.

[name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] or [name_f]Valeria[/name_f] would be prettier imo!

I think I’d prefer it hyphenated as [name_f]Valerie[/name_f]-[name_f]Anne[/name_f]. Together Valerieanne just feels difficult to read and pronounce in my mind. I think it could be an issue for future Drs or teachers until they get used to the name!

I agree with the previous comment too that both names are quite dated…but if thats what you like then go for it! You could always use [name_f]Anne[/name_f] as the middle name rather than a part of the first name.

I prefer [name_m]Valerian[/name_m], to be honest…

It sounds like a (rather awkward) smoosh name. I’m not really a fan, too clunky for me. As a PP pointed out, it does sound rather dated- partly because [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] and [name_f]Anne[/name_f] themselves are dated, but the concept of smoosh names in general seems rather dated to me. I can’t think of anyone I know under the age of 20 with a smoosh name, and most of them are middle-aged or older. This might not bother you though, and doesn’t make the name problematic to wear as such.
