Hattie, Addie, or Maddie?

I am completly smitten with these names (Yes, all threeof them) and just wanted to hear your opinions on them. Thank Y’all

I love [name_f]Addie[/name_f], especially as a nn for [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f].
[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is my second favourite, but [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] feels too common to me.

[name_f]Addie[/name_f], and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] are so common atm, i guess [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is the winner for me then?

[name_f]Addie[/name_f] and [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] are rarely ever heard in my neighbourhood so I prefer those

[name_f]Maddie[/name_f] is way to common… Same with [name_f]Addie[/name_f]… the nn’s I love, like for [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], [name_u]Addison[/name_u], [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], [name_u]Madison[/name_u], etc…
However:
[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is simply gorgeous and you don’t hear it a lot. [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] def. wins imo.

[name_f]Addie[/name_f] & [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] are gorgeous!! I love them as nn for [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] & [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f].

[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] seems too old fashioned for me but I guess it’s okay.

I like [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] best and I really like [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] as well. My friend has a daughter [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] who my daughter used to call Haddie when she was first learning to talk and it was really cute.

[name_f]Maddie[/name_f] is way overdone to me. I think [name_f]Addie[/name_f] is okay but I still like [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] better.

[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is my favorite, [name_f]Addie[/name_f] and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] feel overdone to me and kind of boring. Depending on the name you could probably find a more creative nn.

[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is my favorite. It is the one that still feels vintage.

I love the name [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]! My husband and I have decided that if we have a girl her name will be [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u].

[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is the only one that I like as a given first name. I love its vintage charm and I think it can stand on its own. The other two are just nicknames for me and are more common. They sound more contemporary so they lack that old-fashioned quality and that could be because they’re often nn’s for [name_u]Addison[/name_u] and [name_u]Madison[/name_u] as well as [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]/[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]/[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f].

I wouldn’t want to be known by any of them. [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], though. Diminutive names that end in -y or -ie are just so cutesy.

[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]: [name_f]Love[/name_f] it! It’s such a gorgeous name. It’s number one of those three names.
[name_f]Maddie[/name_f]: I can’t help but love it, despite the fact it’s way to overdone. I adore [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], nn [name_f]Maddie[/name_f].
[name_f]Addie[/name_f]: Never been particularly fond of it, as I don’t like [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Adelina[/name_f], Adalind and off it goes.

I think, the only one who can stand on it’s own is [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_f]Addie[/name_f] just feel way to nicknamey for me.

My favourite is [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]. Second favourite is [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] although not for [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. I dislike the sound of [name_f]Addie[/name_f].

We had 3 [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]'s in my group of 25 girls last year (one [name_f]Maddie[/name_f], one [name_u]Mattie[/name_u], and one [name_f]Maddy[/name_f]).
I’ve never met an [name_f]Addie[/name_f] or a [name_f]Hattie[/name_f].

Honestly, they all feel like the same name to me, but I guess I’d pick [name_f]Addie[/name_f] because it feels the most usable and versatile.

Contrary to (what I believe to be) popular opinion, I love [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]! [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] isn’t bad, but both [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_f]Addie[/name_f] (especially [name_f]Addie[/name_f]) are so overused these days. I would compare [name_f]Addie[/name_f] to [name_u]Mason[/name_u] in terms of ‘offbeat hipster that at least 4 kids in the kindergarten class will have’. When [name_f]IO[/name_f] was growing up it was [name_f]Heather[/name_f] and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] that filled up the class roster, and these days it’s [name_f]Addie[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Maddie[/name_f], it’s still popular but not quite so overdone, but I can’t stop the [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] love. [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is one of my favorite names ever.

I like [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]. There’s nothing wrong with giving your child a common name, I prefer common names since people will know how to spell and pronounce the name. I also know a [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and she’s a very gorgeous, smart person, so that name wins for me.

I love [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], but especially as a nn for [name_f]Harriet[/name_f].

[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is fabulous! [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and [name_f]Addie[/name_f] are not my style.

FWIW I think there’s a good chance [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is going to be the [name_f]Addie[/name_f]/[name_f]Maddie[/name_f] of a few years ago in terms of popularity, but you like them all so I doubt that concerns you (it doesn’t concern me either : D). In that case, [name_f]Addie[/name_f] is my favorite by sound. : D.
