I’ve always liked the name [name_u]Havana[/name_u] but last name also starts with Ha. Too many H?
I’ve came across the names [name_f]Maya[/name_f] (pronounced MAY-ah) and [name_f]Alora[/name_f].
Family tradition, middle name is a family member. So was going to do my mums middle name, [name_u]Lee[/name_u]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] don’t know if I like the sound of [name_f]Maya[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] or [name_f]Alora[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]?
Havana is a cool name, but two Ha’s is a lot. But maybe if your last name sounded like [name_m]Hallam[/name_m], [name_u]Havana[/name_u] [name_m]Hallam[/name_m] the two name starts would at least sound different.
I like [name_u]Havana[/name_u] best! I think [name_u]Havana[/name_u] Ha-- would be memorable
[name_f]Alora[/name_f] is my second fave! [name_f]Maya[/name_f] is cute too but I prefer the [name_f]My[/name_f]-ah pronunciation.
Alora [name_u]Lee[/name_u] is darling! [name_f]Maya[/name_f] is cute too. [name_u]Havana[/name_u] is just the song to me, which is annoying. I think Ha Ha might be a little too much, especially since [name_u]Havana[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] sounds a little cutesy to me.
I love the name [name_f]Maya[/name_f], but your daughter would most likely spend her life correcting people on pronunciation (most people assume its MY-ah). There’s a girl in my class called [name_f]Mia[/name_f] (pronounced MEE-ah) and teachers always use MY-ah, so I think another way of pronouncing may confuse people.
I think [name_u]Havana[/name_u] would be fine, some common Ha- surnames like [name_u]Havana[/name_u] [name_m]Harris[/name_m], [name_u]Havana[/name_u] [name_u]Haley[/name_u] etc don’t sound too bad, especially if it was [name_u]Havana[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] [name_m]Harris[/name_m], [name_u]Havana[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] [name_u]Haley[/name_u] etc. I think the name is really pretty too
Alora is lovely, its unique, but I don’t think pronunciation would be a problem, I think [name_f]Alora[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] sounds great!
