Have Narrowed Them Down

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone, I’ve been posting a lot, looking for help with finding a sister name that goes with our daughter [name_f]Fay[/name_f]’s name. Thank you so much for all the helpful suggestions. We have narrowed down the list to:

[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] - Strongest option. [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] wasn’t on our original list, but it’s the perfect combo of long time love [name_f]Lily[/name_f], and a favorite suggestion on here, [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] feels a bit more flowing and to us feels nicer to say out loud than [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. We associate it with Lilacs and feel it has a mystical energy with the dark beauty meaning. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] is due in winter, so also seems fitting she would have a name that reflects the season of least sun light, yet beautiful cozy warmth. This name with middle [name_f]Willow[/name_f] came to me and it just felt perfect. I’ve always loved willow trees.

[name_f]Isla[/name_f]/[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] - Still not off the table. Was curious if [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] would be as well received as this name was on here.

[name_f]Leia[/name_f] ([name_m]Lay[/name_m]-uh, Maybe [name_f]Leia[/name_f] [name_u]Sky[/name_u]) - We love the sound and the meaning of celestial flowers, divine child.

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - This name has really grown on me, and although sometimes it felt masculine to me, I can see it more and more on a girl. Hubby would need some convincing though. It feels a bit masculine for his liking.

Thanks once again for your feedback!

It sounds like you have the most connection to [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f], and I think those connections will help you continue to like a name more than if it were just a "this sounds nice in the moment name. It’s a pretty name too.

[name_f]Leia[/name_f] [name_u]Sky[/name_u] is too close to [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Leia[/name_f] Skywalker for my taste.

[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is gorgeous and sounds lovely with [name_f]Fay[/name_f]! It sounds like a great fit for you.

[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is perfect! (I also like the spelling [name_f]Lyla[/name_f])

Thanks guys! I do feel very connected to [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f], and that’s a great point Electric_sheep. I didn’t even think of the [name_f]Leia[/name_f] Skywalker connection!! Lol!

My concern with [name_f]Leia[/name_f] is that it is kind of rhyme-y with [name_f]Fay[/name_f] ([name_m]Lay[/name_m] & [name_f]Fay[/name_f]).

So, from the rest of the list, I think [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] or [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] are both great options. You cannot go wrong, but I think you said it yourself… in the end, you prefer saying [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]!

[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] really is gorgeous

I love [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]! It fits perfectly with sister [name_f]Fay[/name_f]! I also find [name_f]Isla[/name_f] a bit awkward too say our loud, and while [name_f]Leia[/name_f] is pretty, I prefer the more traditional [name_f]Leah[/name_f]. [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] and [name_f]Fay[/name_f] sound and look beautiful together!

Thank you! I’m really excited about [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and happy that it’s being as well received as [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. It’s really chiming in as the right name. [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] was a beautiful suggestion as well, thank you dream.create!
