Have you ever heard a name that you couldn't help but laugh at?

now keep in mind, I feel kinda terrible for laughing at this, but I saw the name Bartolemea and I can’t even say it without laughing.

have you ever seen or heard a name that you couldn’t help but laugh at or am I just a terrible person?

I know this is a very unpopular opinion on here, but [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m]. All I hear is “barf”. No hate to anyone that like that name though!!

aw this makes me sad! bartolomea (bar-to-lo-MEH-uh) is so pretty imo, as is the masculine form bartolomeo. they’re the italian forms of bartholomew!

Not me, but my grandmother. She worked with an older lady named Skinny [name_m]Goose[/name_m] (a direct translation from my language). I guess it was even more unfortunate since she was seriously overweight and had an arrogant ‘know-it-all’ personality.

I worked at a large corporation several years ago in a position in which I saw all the names of all the employees. I never met her, but I couldn’t help but laugh when I came across the employee name [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] Butts. Like did she marry into that last name and if so, why didn’t she opt to keep her maiden name because that’s just a terrible combination? And if it’s not her married name, her parents must have been awful people. lol

I went to elementary through high school with a boy named [name_u]William[/name_u] [name_m]Williams[/name_m]. He went mostly by [name_u]Will[/name_u], but still, who does that :sob: I’ve always thought it was hilarious.
