what are your opinions on [name_u]Haven[/name_u]? do you think she will age well? what are your first thoughts or vibes when you initially hear the name?

what middle name would you give [name_u]Haven[/name_u] to go with the names in my sig? what sibset would you put [name_u]Haven[/name_u] in? any nicknames you could think of?

thanks in advance!!

I personally don’t care for it as it feels a bit trendy or hippyish, and I’m not sure it would age well. It is short so I don’t think there is an intuitive nickname.

It’s not my cup of tea. It sounds very trendy, I imagine in 10-20 years it’ll be considered pretty dated. And how close to heaven it is makes me uncomfortable, I’m personally not fond of names with very strong religious imagery.

The first nn that came to mind was [name_f]Avie[/name_f]. [name_u]Haven[/name_u] could age well, imo.

Some sibling names:

thanks for all your feedback!! i like [name_u]Haven[/name_u] [name_f]Leandra[/name_f] and [name_u]Halle[/name_u] is very sweet! i also put [name_u]Haven[/name_u] [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] together and think [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]/Hase would be sweet as well

[name_u]Haven[/name_u] [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] '[name_m]Hayes[/name_m] ’ is cute!!

I like [name_u]Haven[/name_u] for a girl and I personally think it would age just fine. [name_u]Haven[/name_u] is actually part of my name and I will say that I do occasionally get the [name_f]Heaven[/name_f] comment. But usually I just get compliments on it. I even had an international student comment that he liked my name because it can mean “safe place.” I also don’t think the name will be ever popular enough to be dated down the line.

I think [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] [name_f]Alba[/name_f] has a little [name_u]Haven[/name_u]. I always thought it was pretty, although not really my style. I would like to see a [name_u]Haven[/name_u] nn. [name_f]Ava[/name_f]–a more unisex and modern sounding name streamlined to the classic and very feminine [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] is very cool too!

thanks for all your comments! after some thought [name_u]Haven[/name_u] [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] just doesn’t seem as bold as some of my others and it just doesn’t sit as right with me - i do think [name_u]Haven[/name_u] [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] is sweet and cute but there is just something missing… i would like to know what other middle’s you guys could come up with!! preferably starting with an ‘S’ as i do love [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]!!

I love [name_u]Haven[/name_u] in the middle spot. It feels a bit ‘trendy’ as a first name but if you love it, then go for it.

I think the nickname ‘[name_m]Hays[/name_m]’ works even without an S middle name.

Here are some other middle name suggestions (sorry for any repeats):
[name_u]Haven[/name_u] [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]

I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] [name_u]Haven[/name_u]. It’s one of my favorites. [name_u]Haven[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] has always been my go-to, or [name_u]Haven[/name_u] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f].

I love [name_u]Haven[/name_u]! She fits right in with the names of today, but has that little bit of something difference.
