So, this is our 2nd son–first one is [name]James[/name] [name]Talley[/name] (family names)–this is what we’re looking at and some of their drawbacks:
[name]Jack[/name] [name]Dempsey[/name] [name]Rogers[/name] (too plain?)
[name]Beau[/name] [name]Dempsey[/name] (too confusing to spell: [name]Bo[/name]/[name]Beau[/name]?)
[name]Abel[/name] [name]Dempsey[/name] (first murder?)
[name]Jude[/name] [name]Dempsey[/name] (two D’s)
Any suggestions??
If your last name is [name]Rogers[/name], I think that [name]Jack[/name] [name]Rogers[/name] is a pretty plain name. Also, I like [name]Jack[/name] as a name but it seems like every other baby boy I meet is named [name]Jack[/name].
Of all the names on your list, I like [name]Abel[/name] the most. I don’t think about the first murder at all. To me, it seems like a can-do-it attitude. You know… able [name]Abel[/name]. I think it’s unique.
[name]Jude[/name] is a pretty cool name too. I’ve heard [name]Beau[/name] mainly as a nickname, but it could work. It might be weird to meet a grown-up named [name]Beau[/name] though.
Umm… based on your naming tastes, I’d suggest: [name]Silas[/name], [name]George[/name], [name]Milo[/name], [name]Blake[/name], [name]Leo[/name]
My favorite name out of them all is [name]Jude[/name], but I agree that the first and middle would kinda run together. [name]Jack[/name] is nice. [name]Abel[/name] is NMS and I can’t stand [name]Beau[/name].

I’d vote for [name]Jude[/name] [name]Dempsey[/name]. Also like [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Jack[/name]. I wouldn’t go with [name]Abel[/name] for exactly that reason-- [name]Cain[/name] and [name]Abel[/name] are totally off limits in my mind, but that’s just me! Good luck!

I like [name]Jude[/name] the best, but of the new ones you added, I really like [name]Joel[/name] and [name]Henry[/name].
[name]Beau[/name] is the real stand stand out for me. I think it is strong enough to go with [name]Dempsey[/name] and stand with make your LN sound interesting. A real winner [name]IMO[/name] 
Thanks everyone~! I just thought of [name]Joseph[/name], too–I really would like a name that’s not in the top 50 but it’s a family name and sounds good, too. Oh decisions, decisions! I do like [name]Henry[/name], but [name]Henry[/name] [name]Dempsey[/name] doesn’t really work But [name]Joel[/name] [name]Dempsey[/name] & [name]Joseph[/name] [name]Dempsey[/name], do. Sometimes it just helps seeing them written out!
