Having a name dilemma!

I like to use names that I love but I could never get away with on characters. I love the name Abcde (pron A-suh-dee, and yes, people have named their children this, oddly enough) and so I gave it to a character in a series I’m writing. I love the combo Abcde [name_u]River[/name_u] and its my chance to use it, but the surname is [name_m]Rush[/name_m]. And the surname is perfect to me. But Abcde [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_m]Rush[/name_m]? [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_m]Rush[/name_m]? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think I could make some sort of gag in the story about her full name or just not use a middle name at all?

About the character: She has light blue hair with bright yellow highlights that she keeps pulled back in a side pony. She’s 22 years of age and lives in the future. She identifies as asexual aromantic, and she is a warrior. Other characters in her life are named Tyrx (sounds like Tare-ix), [name_f]Xia[/name_f], and Baiadree “[name_f]Bae[/name_f]” and she has a brother named Iason. There will be other characters later (Thinking about maybe adding adding a Polyxena, a Twix, an Anaxandra, and maybe twins named [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] and Xenon, but haven’t found places for them yet) Main character is Tyrx, though he’s only the main of this particular book. The main character of the series is named [name_m]Klaus[/name_m] Fuhrman. (It’s a bit of a confusing series)

I think Abcde [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_m]Rush[/name_m] isn’t all that bad. The combo feels especially fitting to a story set in the future. If you’re worried about calling her Abcde [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_m]Rush[/name_m] in the story, maybe you could just consider it her middle name but never actually use it in context or dialogue. The more I think about it and say it aloud though, the better it sounds. I wouldn’t worry. Abcde [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_m]Rush[/name_m] works fine.

I’m honestly more worried about Tyrx and Twix because when I first read Tyrx I read it as Twix… maybe that’s just me though and I should go get glasses.

I wouldn’t get rid of [name_u]River[/name_u] because of the last name but I’m wondering if it just sticks out too much on it’s own? I mean all your other names are so eccentric that they make [name_u]River[/name_u] seem kind of mismatched. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have other characters with (for lack of a better word) simpler names? Or maybe did the parents just have really different naming styles and one picked the first and the other picked the middle?
