[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I found out this evening that we are having 2 boy and 1 girl triplets!
[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I are almost 100% certain that the girl will be named [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]. But we are looking for help with boy names. We love unique, old fashioned names.
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]-So cute. It’s quirky & handsome. I’m seeing it a lot on these boards, but I don’t think that it’s terribly common in real life. Hard to tell. I like it w/Imogen.
[name_m]Edwin[/name_m]-Charming too! A little nerdy, but in a cute way.
[name_u]Quincy[/name_u]-This is different. It’s not my personal favorite, but it’s not bad.
[name_m]Percival[/name_m]-This is cute, but maybe a little bit too nerdy & out there for real life.
[name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]-Very handsome. I love [name_u]Max[/name_u], but it’s really popular.
[name_m]Wilfred[/name_m]-This is actually kind of cute. I didn’t think I liked it, but it’s fun. Especially paired w/Imogen. I am really liking [name_m]Fred[/name_m] & [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] lately.
I love it when someone has a clear name aesthetic! Yours seems very old money British boarding school, and I’m having a blast with it!
There are only two names on your existing list that I have minor concerns about. [name_m]Milo[/name_m] shares many of the same letters and some of the same sounds as [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], so I wouldn’t put those two in the same sibset unless one of them was a middle name. The only other flag I’ll raise is the potential association between [name_m]Wilfred[/name_m] and the TV show by the same name.
Imogen is such a great name, and I really like all of your boys’ names! [name_f]My[/name_f] favourites with [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] would be [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u], but any of them would work brilliantly. Other options:
Imogen, [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] and [name_m]Monty[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] and [name_m]Amias[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Wilfred[/name_m] and [name_m]Alastair[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Percival[/name_m] and [name_m]Apollo[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_m]Otis[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_u]Jem[/name_u]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] and [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Wilkie[/name_m] and [name_m]Leopold[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Elio[/name_m] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_u]Rex[/name_u] and [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
I love [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]! From your list I like [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] and [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]. While [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] pairs very well with [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] imo, [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] doesn’t flow as easily.
Wilfred is nice and I like it with [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] but I don’t like it as much with [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]. [name_m]Percival[/name_m] seems tied to the Weasleys to me, although I love the nn [name_u]Percy[/name_u].
Have you considered:
[name_m]Alfred[/name_m]
[name_m]Andrew[/name_m]
[name_m]Brennon[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
[name_m]Conrad[/name_m]
[name_m]Edgar[/name_m]
[name_m]Gerard[/name_m]
[name_m]Griffith[/name_m]
[name_m]Lewis[/name_m]
[name_m]Milton[/name_m]
[name_m]Nigel[/name_m]
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]
[name_m]Perseus[/name_m]
[name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Roderick[/name_m]
[name_m]Roger[/name_m]
Imogen works with many styles and you seem to have lots of options in the old-school theme. Since they’re triplets, I would recommend that if you’re using a pattern for two names, like vowel names or three syllables, use it for all of them. I wouldn’t want one to feel left out.
Imogen, [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] and [name_m]Alfred[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Alfred[/name_m] and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] and [name_m]Roger[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Nigel[/name_m] and [name_m]Roger[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] and [name_m]Griffith[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and [name_m]Perseus[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and [name_m]Roderick[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Perseus[/name_m] and [name_m]Roderick[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Brennon[/name_m] and [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Milton[/name_m] and [name_m]Conrad[/name_m]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Gerard[/name_m] and [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
Imogen, [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] are fantastic together!!
I also like [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_m]Wilfred[/name_m] and [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]
I love [name_m]Milo[/name_m], [name_m]Edwin[/name_m], [name_m]Percival[/name_m] and [name_m]Wilfred[/name_m] - what a great list! [name_m]How[/name_m] about using three vowel names to create a light theme and tie the names together?
