[name]Just[/name] occurred to me… Hawthorneis a bush or tree and I have a daughter [name]Juniper[/name]. Is this too themey or odd? Is there a divide between [name]Conrad[/name], [name]Nolan[/name] and then [name]Juniper[/name] and [name]Hawthorne[/name]? I think I may have to remove this one I do need to eliminate and shorten my list so maybe a good thing b
Units so hard when there’s no clear front runner.
Ack sorry for te spell check madness!
I can connect [name]Conrad[/name], [name]Nolan[/name] and [name]Juniper[/name] by the letter N and a sense of the unexpected. But if you were to tack [name]Hawthorn[/name] on to the end, I would think you started your childbearing years with one notion of babynaming and finished them up with another (botanical)-- i.e. it would look like a sharp divide right down the middle of the 4 siblings.
Of your choices, I think [name]Beckett[/name] is the best fit with the other three. The boys would all have distinctive, uncommon, 2-syllable names starting and ending with consonant sounds. [name]Juniper[/name] & [name]Beckett[/name] would share a nature connection (a [name]Beck[/name] is a small stream); [name]Conrad[/name] & [name]Beckett[/name] are both saints ([name]Thomas[/name] a [name]Becket[/name]); and [name]Beckett[/name] and [name]Nolan[/name] share a gentler masculinity compared to the stronger name [name]Conrad[/name].
I like [name]Juniper[/name] and [name]Hawthorne[/name] together but when you add in the other names there does seem to be a divide.
Solution-Only have one boy and one girl! Hehe!
Lol, whirligig! Thanks for your input! This is our fourth and probably final.
[name]Blade[/name], thank you…this is what I was worried about. I do like the n sound in all the names. I have written out these baby names so much "to see what fits and the double t’s in oth [name]Everett[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] and [name]Beckett[/name] seems to throw me off. It’s funny you think [name]Beckett[/name] fits best…it is my favorite and I was sold on using it yesterday (I go back and forth). I have an acquaintance with many mutual friends that used the name a year ago. I was devastated at first but am getting more used to the idea of it not mattering. My sister has been my therapy for this, haha. I’m this baby’s photographer too so I’m sure there are people that will think I copied the name but I did tell the mom right away when he was a newborn that that was the name we had picked out if my daughter had been a boy. Thank you so much for connecting the dots with the name. It makes me feel better and you might ave just swayed me for sure!
[name]Hawthorne[/name] is a name to me first, a plant second. So I wouldn’t make that association at all. It’s a very, very common surname. So I don’t see the problem! It’s not so obviously planty in the way that [name]Juniper[/name] is?
