What’s your impression of this name? Would you prefer to see it spelled without the e? Possible combos?

Starting to think about names for possible baby #2!

I love it! I would spell it [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m].

[name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] is so handsome and woodsy. It’s one of my favorite nature names <3 I do prefer the spelling Hawthorn - though Hawthorne is great too - and adore the nicknames Hawk, Thor, and Thorn. And I love it with Sequoia! Combos:

Hawthorn Castor or Caspar
Hawthorn Reuel
Hawthorn Vero
Hawthorn Amyas
Hawthorn Cato
Hawthorn Jules
Hawthorn Laszlo
Hawthorn Cyrus or Sirius
Hawthorn Evander
Hawthorn Amadeus or Amedeo
Hawthorn Jago
Hawthorn Elias
Hawthorn Spiro
Hawthorn Liev
Hawthorn Viggo
Hawthorn Magnus
Hawthorn Eero

Very handsome.

I love this, too. It reminds me of Hemlock, which is a name we may use in the future.

I looooove [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]!

I love [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]! It has a nice ruggedness to it, but I also see it as scholarly. I have a slight preference for the e because I like the literary connection. [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] is probably one of the few American authors I enjoyed. The spellings in 2014 were pretty similar, so I don’t think either one matters much. [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] (19), [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] (6)

I second [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m]! Handsome combo

I love the name [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]!! I like the nn [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] as well.

Ooh, some great combos. [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] is gorgeous. We have a single syllable last name, so I’m leaning towards multi-syllable middles

[name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] is very interesting! It’s got the nature connection, but manages to come across like a lawyer name. Strong, classic, even old-fashioned sounding (in a good way) while being none of that. Great choice!

It’s a not so nice city close to where I grew up. I think I could get on board with this name if it wasn’t for that

I love the name [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]! I prefer it spelt with the e on the end, too!

I think it would look incomplete without the “e”

I don’t like or dislike this name.

I like it… Sounds strong and classic!
